Private Lagoon-View Villa + Pool in Savusavu, Fiji

A fabulous villa overlooking a beautiful tidal flat complete with an infinity pool! Our host Dani was terrific as well with great communication and suggestions of local activities! Snorkeling on Fiji is very special indeed! We look forward to a return trip!

Staying at the villa was wonderful. The villa is located in a beautiful spot, overlooking the lagoon and offering stunning sunsets. It is very peaceful, and every morning we were awakened by birdsong. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to prepare meals. The pool is absolutely gorgeous. The cleanliness of the villa is impeccable. The host took care of all our requests and provided all the necessary information.Thank you for everything, and I hope to return again.

good location. The pool was fantastic. The highway below the property is noisy. The home is very nice. Beaches are horrible to non existent. .All in all, it was a good time

We spent 11 nights at Maravu Paradise villa and it was pure bliss. We love the views from the villa and the space it offers. Great for our kids to run around. It was home away from home. It had everything we needed. Danielle was very easy to reach and communicate with. Laite and her husband, Zack (housekeepers) are wonderful. They prepared the pool hut for my husband’s birthday. It was like staying in a private resort, without the pretence. Looking forward to return

This property is spectacular. The view was all the photos promised and more. Danielle was responsive to our questions and a valuable resource. We had Chef Raj come in to cook a couple of meals for us and the food was delicious and, as a bonus, she is a delight to talk to. Bablu is far more than a cab driver. He helps you to love the Savusavu area as much as he does. I would stay at this house again in a heartbeat. My only regret is that we didn’t have a longer stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Maravu Paradise Villa. Dani was an excellent communicator right from the start. She has a great online guide to the house and was very responsive to questions. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with a/c and en suite bathrooms. There are multiple common areas to either be together or find your own spot (and the screened in porch has more comfy furniture than pictured). We loved having breakfast (prepared by Chef Raj) outside every morning. The view is lovely and we enjoyed watching the sunsets from beside the pool. The outdoor shower in the primary bedroom was great!

Someone put a great deal of time, money, and energy into this home when it was built--handcrafted with the best materials and Pacific Island architecture. My wife and two daughters are swimmers--they loved the pool! No A/C in the main living area--just the bedrooms. The main living area is beautiful and very well-ventilated, but a little warm on the hottest days--good time to jump in the pool or take a nap in the beautiful, spacious bedrooms that do have great A/C. The home is aging a little on the exterior, but I highly doubt there is a nicer place for the money in Fiji. If you're not an adept driver the driveway could be a little challenging. Of the numerous places we stayed during our three-week vacation in Fiji, including a five-star resort, Maravu was our favorite. Danielle can compete with any resort concierge.

BULA - What an amazing property! As advertised, this oversized villa on a hilltop overlooking the sea is fully equipped and very private, providing you with everything you need for a fabulous Fijian vacation. My wife and I stayed for 10 nights this month and had everything we needed to relax including 2 master bedrooms (we tried both), a very cool outdoor shower, a grand room fully equipped with every appliance, a large pool that had infinity views to the wondrous area below, an on-call chef Raj who cooked our Fijian meals 3 nights and mornings, and the amazing owner Dani who took care of us every step of the way, no matter what need arose. You are within about 30 min drive of any excursion - we snorkeled in Natewa Bay and Namena Reserve run respectively by Ocean Ventures & Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort in opposite directions from the villa - both are incredible and different tours that any snorkeler would thoroughly enjoy. Savusavu town is about a 20-minute drive from the villa for all your shopping and dining needs and there are several resorts close to the villa that offer dining and excursions or massages, like we did twice at Koro Sun - only 5 mins away. You'll pay about 1/2 the price for your own private villa with all the amenities vs a high-end resort, so this was a no-brainer for us. Next time we're back in Fiji, we will definitely return! The property is amazing. Located on a hill with the perfect view of the South Pacific. Our host was very attentive and pleasant to work with. Highly recommended!!
