Wrapped in nearly two acres of lush rainforest, Villa Ceiba is an eco-luxury retreat with sweeping Pacific Ocean views, total privacy, and front-row seats to Manuel Antonio’s famous wildlife. Monkeys, toucans, sloths, and vibrant tropical birds are regular visitors, creating an unforgettable jungle experience from the comfort of your villa.

Built in 2015 and renovated in 2025, this modern six-bedroom, six-and-a-half-bath villa is designed for high-end comfort: with en-suite bedrooms facing the ocean, and the infinity pool appears to spill into the jungle canopy and sea beyond. The open-concept living area and gourmet kitchen fully open to the pool terrace, so your group can move effortlessly between lounging, swimming, dining, and wildlife watching.

The master suite features its own oversized balcony and a Japanese soaking tub with serene jungle views, perfect for evening relaxation with the sounds of the rainforest all around. All bedrooms, the kitchen, and the sitting area are equipped with eco-friendly inverter A/C units and ceiling fans, and the home is carbon neutral with solar technology helping to offset traditional energy use. A ground-floor bedroom offers easier access for guests with mobility needs.

Location is unbeatable: Villa Ceiba sits on Pacific Canyon Drive, the prime entrance corridor to some of Manuel Antonio’s best restaurants, bars, nightlife, cafes, and convenience services. You can walk 10–15 minutes to the top dining spots, shops, bus stops, and local attractions, and during the dry season, a scenic 20-minute jungle path from the property leads directly to the beach for a true “from jungle to sand” experience.

Your stay includes personalized concierge services to handle airport transfers, private chef dinners, in-villa spa services, and reservations for activities such as national park tours, ziplining, catamaran cruises, and surf lessons. Please note: like all homes on this road, Villa Ceiba has a steep driveway, so 4x4 vehicles are required for access. Concierge has a 6 person side by side to shuttle guests and luggage if needed. Please note, shuttle vans that are not 4x4 or are oversized cannot access the villa directly, they will need to be parked at the top of the driveway and the concierge will transport guests down upon arrival and departure.

We saw amazing wildlife right from our house. There were monkeys ,and sloth, two of them, deer and toucans, and much more. We also had an amazing view of the Pacific as shown in the pictures. Laura was a great help. She went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic. As mentioned before the driveway is very steep and wouldn’t be the best for people who aren’t good with driving on steep drives. Overall or stay was fantastic and we plan to return.

We had an amazing stay at the Villa Ceiba! Laura was great at communicating and helping with activities. Our housekeeper Norma was top notch and made our lives so much more pleasant and simple with daily cleaning and doing laundry! For a large family with several kids this was much appreciated. House was huge. Pool was excellent and the view was priceless! Lots of jungle around, so plenty of wildlife to see. Overall this is a nice gem and we would definitely come back again!

Our group just returned from a week-long stay at this gorgeous house. Beautiful views from everywhere in the house. We loved sitting on the patio and watching the monkeys and birds every day, and we even lucky enough to see sloth right outside the house! We also enjoyed our daily visit from the 3- legged iguana (Wally) as well. Loved the open kitchen that opens right out onto the deck and pool, and also appreciated having the large air-conditioned downstairs rooms and air-conditioned bedrooms when you needed to cool off. Overall, a beautiful house in an exceptional location. Laura was awesome - she booked multiple tours and dinner reservations for our group of 13 in advance, helped coordinate some complicated travel arrangements for some of the members of our group who had to leave early, and also was able to add on an additional kayak tour last minute. She also came through in a major way when one of our group unfortunately broke her arm. Laura was able to arrange an almost immediate appointment in a local clinic where we were treated to excellent and speedy medical care. The housekeeper Norma was lovely and so nice to our group as was the gardener, Francisco.

What a trip! Laura was simply fantastic. With her organization and detail our trip went so smooth. There was 12 of us. 8 adults and 4 kids (1,2,4,8 in age) She grocery shopped for us before our arrival, which was so nice to have food there and not have to immediately figure that out. She booked the catamaran tour, park tour and surfing for us. Highly recommend the catamaran tour. We saw a mama and baby humpback whales that were very curious. Lunch was great and there was a water slide for the kids (and adults :)) Chef Roberth cooked two meals for us and they were extraordinary. He is very gifted. He made a sushi boat for us that was out of this world. Highly recommend. His service cost is very reasonable. The cost of food is just expensive, whether he is buying groceries or you are. And housekeeping, wow, that made such a difference for us with two toddlers. Thank you! We all had so much fun playing in the pool. It is so beautiful set in the jungle and overlooking the ocean. We had squirrel monkeys and capuchins come right near the pool. Howler monkeys would start howling right before the sun came up. It does feel like you have your own little spot in the jungle but also a close walk up to the town. It is steep though. Laura’s not kidding when she says you need 4 wheel drive. Thank you, what an amazing trip we will always remember. And when we come back to Manuel Antonio again sometime there’s no question we’ll stay at Villa Ceiba again.

Front the moment we started looking at Costa Rica Laura was unbelievable she helped answer all my questions and any concerns that I had. She help us plan a perfect vacation even during the rainy season from transportation to day trip fishing she rocked it all. The house was more than we could have ever hoped for. The view was picture perfect I can’t wait to go back

Our three families stayed at villa Ceiba from May 30 to June 4, 2024. We had decided to try Costa Rica out as an adventure, and villa Ceiba was the absolute perfect starting point. To begin with, Laura was the perfect host. We had groups arriving at two different times. This was no problem; she met and stayed with the first group until the later ones arrived. She had prescheduled several activities including the national park, a chef dinner, and zip-lining. Her arrangements allowed us to relax and enjoy rather than fretting over when and where to be from time to time. She was also available throughout our stay to help with questions about restaurants and other issues as they arose. The villa was fully equipped and met all our needs. The bedrooms were perfect for both adults and kids. The kids loved the pool. One of the highlights of the entire trip was the presence of wildlife in the surrounding forest. We had monkeys, sloths, and iguanas just close enough to enjoy but far enough away not to be a nuisance. Chef Robert prepared a wonderful three-course meal that everyone loved. The pictures portray the villa as remote, but in effect it is just next to the town of Manuel Antonio, and easily accessible by hard-surfaced streets. Much is made of the steep drive, but both our four-wheel drive vehicles made it down and up the drive with no problem, sometimes without even engaging the four-wheel drive. It is almost entirely paved with concrete. Villa Ceiba is truly a treasure.

Overall, was a pleasant stay. Thought the stay would have included payment to staff, so wasn't expecting having to pay maid service. The Chef was overpriced, but had nothing to do with the stay. It had a beautiful view and plenty of room for us all, although the kitchen was not air-conditioned which is not good during a heat wave! But overall, we all had a pleasant stay.

I don't know where to start! Laura Lyle's property here is absolutely amazing!!! My family and my childhood best friend from boarding school's family joined us here for another adventure and my birthday. We have traveled outside the country together before and this was by far our favorite place we have ever stayed. The property is absolutely magnificent, and Laura is there at a moment's notice whether its for reservations or beach recommendations. The housekeeper was amazing. Washing our beach laundry every day and doing the dishes and anything else we needed. I also highly recommend the chef...Chef Robarth was absolutely amazing! Without the amazing views, friendly people and gorgeous beaches - the food alone would be worth coming back! Highly recommend this home and we will definitely be returning!
