Stayed Oct 11, 2025Santorini is known for the sunsets, best in the northern hemisphere. This is the place to stay to witness this event. Working with Chantal made our visit the best. The villa is located right in the middle of the island and it does not matter what time of year you visit, the sunset will be the best. You enter the villa right off the main walking path but the set up is perfect for privacy and no noise at all from the community. We really liked this location as it's a very short walk to the shops and restaurants but set apart which allows relaxation, privacy and no noise. The rooms are large with plenty of windows for natural light. Each has their own bathroom for the ensuite experience. Chantal and the staff are very professional and made our visit extra special. We had a chef that prepared a farewell dinner for the group and the food was over the top delicious. We sat at the large table as the sun went down and enjoyed a wonderfully prepared meal. Truly a perfect setting for anyone who visits Santorini. The villa is perched right on the edge of the cliffs so stairs will need to be navigated. This is very common for most of the villas but it provides an unobstructed view of everything from the caldera, volcano and, of course, the sunsets. No need to look any further as this is the place to be.

Stayed Jun 30, 2023In Santorini to celebrate my sons wedding- chose Seahorse residence for our 6 night stay. An excellent choice. A lovely 3 level villa with amazing views in Firostephani, close to shops and local restaurants and only a short ( although hilly walk) into Fira main area. Chantal was a great host, always contactable and daily breakfast served on our lovely balcony was delightful , we felt very spoilt. Will highly recommend Seahorse Villa to anyone who asks. Everything you can think of was included, even daily cleaning and complimentary transfers on arrival and departure. Thankyou Chantal and staff

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Located in Firostefani, close to Fira town with restaurants nearby. We were 11 of us and had 3 separate villas. The large one had a Jacuzzi outside, one bedroom with an attached bathroom on the lower floor and another open bedroom with an which attached bathroom that could be reached using a steep spiral staircase. One extra bed was at the bottom of the staircase and the sofa in the living room became another makeshift bed. The kitchen was large and fully equipped. In fact the in house chef cooked us a delicious meal on one of the days. The 2nd villa had a bedroom with a double bed and an extra bed and a bathroom and a small pantry. Three 3rd villa had a double bed bathroom and pantry. Very comfortable. All three villas are on separate levels. Tonia and Chantal were very helpful and the chef was good. Everything at breakfast was made in-house. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets from the villa. They have another villa for 8 people which had a larger pool.. Chantal sent us a car to drop and fetch us. Enjoyed our stay at the Seahorse residence.

Stayed Oct 12, 2018We were a group of 6 adults (4 seniors) who spent 3 weeks in Greece, ending with 5 days at Sea Horse in early October 2018. So how do you begin writing a review on this property, the owner, and the staff?...….well, you truly cannot put the experience of staying here in words! From the moment they greet you, to the time your eyes get teary when leaving, these folks will make your Santorini vacation special. While we learned there are too many treats on Santorini to describe in one message, if I can convey one must do to you, is you must plan to have dinner on the pool patio and enjoy not only the sunset, but the masterpiece called cooking done by X and his wife, Athena...……..as I said, MAGICAL !!! Stayed May 21, 2017The villa was as good if not better than the pictures. The views and sunset were spectacular and the outside of the villa seems like a tourist spot to watch the sunset. The service from the team starting with Chantal and including Tonya, Costos, Athena and the rest was outstanding and every request was not only catered too but they went out of their way to make our stay feel like royalty. We were a large group of 6 adults and 3 kids and would highly recommend this property.

Stayed Jun 6, 2016Our family of seven, including three adult children and two spouses, spent five nights at Seahorse on Santorini. Though we have traveled extensively, this was one of the most extraordinary travel experiences any of us have enjoyed. Seahorse villa is tucked into the beautiful rock hillside of Firastefani, away from the hustle and bustle of Fira. It includes four levels of comfort, with each bedroom having its own ensuite bathroom. The main gathering place for your family is a deck and hot tub overlooking the Aegean Sea and Santorini's spectacular caldera. The view is west-facing, so you will see extraordinary sunsets daily! The villa is very comfortable and well cared-for, exceeded in quality only by the service provided by Chantal and her team: quiet, understated, perfect. Each morning at the time you select, a beautiful Greek breakfast is served including Greek yogurt, fresh fruits and breads and another dish. The team who prepare and serve the breakfast have it ready at precisely the time you select and then disappear so you can enjoy your morning repast in privacy. Several bedrooms have ensuite coffeemakers in case you rise early. During the day, other members of the team provide fresh linens, empty trash, refresh water so that things are always ready when you return to the villa. The location of the villa is ideal from a number of perspectives. Fira is the main place tourists enter the island from cruise ships and can be incredibly busy. Although some of them come to Firastefani, it is a 15-minute walk so foot traffic is not as intense. Yet, it is easy to walk into Fira or Firastefani for dinner after the cruise ships leave; there are literally dozens of restaurants within easy walking distance. The hike from the villa to Oia took us a little less than three hours and is spectacular. It is also an easy cab ride to Oia if you want to explore less rigorously. Chantal helped us arrange a half-day catamaran cruise and a van rental for four days so we could explore the island. There are numerous vineyards to visit, the Donkey brewery, archeological sites, beaches and the beautiful village of Pyrgos. The well-known hike from Fira to Oia is a wonderful activity for early morning before it gets to hot. Every place on the caldera side of Santorini has a beautiful view, but none more special than at Seahorse. Our time at Seahorse was memorable. There is nothing I would change about the experience!
