PLUNGE POOL VILLA ON BLUE WATER LAGOON DUCK Key/MARATHON, FL

Made the mistake of renting from a VRBO owner instead of directly from Hawks Cay. The place is out dated and needs maintenance. To start, the beds were terrible! Old mattress that sunk in the middle and creak when you move. The bathroom door could use some WD40 so that it doesn't squeak when you open and close. The fan in one of the bedrooms was almost impossible to pull on to turn on and the light didn't work. Not to bad as far as cleanliness but you could see some dust and dirt in the corners of countertops and floors. No one wanted to get in the little pool because it looked old and dirty. We had trouble locking the door and tried calling the site manager but she didn't answer so we had to figure out and maneuver it to get it to work. We usually will over look some things here or there but for the price paid you're better off renting directly from the resort like we have before.

Villa was very nice but need to do better on cleaning.

No grilling on property was not communicated. Found out about not being able to grill (BBQ) when I arrived and read the notice posted on the patio. Parking was a nightmare.

First time we have stayed here and the place is perfect. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re coming to the keys.

Been renting here for a few years now. Location is great, villa is just perfect, has plenty of room and all you'll need for a great weekend. Can't wait to come back again soon!

We enjoyed our stay the property is clean, comfortable. Great location we fished out of Islamorada so it was closento the marina. Loved sitting in the quiet of the back patio near the water.10 stars

The villa was a great spot for it going bare exploring the Keys. The host was helpful with suggestions, it was super accessible and comfortable. It worked great for our family of 5!

Our trip was great and our puppy loved it! This was 2nd time staying in a Villa @ Hawks Cay, it was wonderful! The Keys never disappoint amd we look forward to next time!

Spent a relaxing few days with my sister, for some much needed girl time. Everything went so smoothly and Deborah was very responsive and easy to work with. The unit was just as described and the grounds were very well maintained.

It was nice to have pool. House was clean & perfect fit out needs. Enjoyed our stay.

Overall the stay was great. However the property needs some furniture and kitchen equipment replacement. We sent email to property manager regarding issues prior our stay. Hopefully, we receive our deposit back soon. We followed the check out list including washing and drying pool towels. House was left clean and organized. Thank you,

Perfect stay despite the rainy weather

Loved this villa!!! My family and I have rented other villas here before, this is definitely the best one. Had everything we needed for a long weekend. Loved the convenience of a half bath on the 1st floor. Everything has been updated, new appliances, sofa bed downstairs is very comfortable. Linens are soft, beds upstairs are cozy and most importantly the Properly Manager was very sweet, attentive and responsive. We will definitely be renting here again in the near future.
