HUMMINGBIRD VILLA, Golf Park, Cap Estate



The 3-bed, 3-bath Hummingbird Villa in Cap Estate offers guests a true tropical retreat. Tucked into the verdant hillside and overlooking the Caribbean Sea and Rodney Bay, this special villa invokes the feeling of treehouse living. A gorgeous flamboyant tree presides over the wooden bridge patiowhich leads to a stone pool deck and plunge pool, surrounded by colorful bougainvillea and other tropical plants. Guests can lounge on one of the many decks, or swing in the hammock and enjoy the Atlantic breezes that keep the property airy and fresh.



This Caribbean villa enjoys an open plan living and dining area with hardwood floors and louvre doors that open up onto the deck and an outdoor eating area. The kitchen, spacious and modern, is fully equipped, and with shutters that open out to valley views, keeps the place cool and bright. Wooden floors, crisp white walls and louvre windows all conspire to create a uniquely fresh Caribbean vibe.



There are two double bedrooms on the main living level. Bedroom 1 has two single beds that can be made into a king-size bed, with louvre windows that look out towards the flamboyant tree. There is a shower room off of this bedroom. Bedroom 2 has a four-poster queen-size bed with an en suite shower room. This bedroom has a door that leads to the swimming pool and sun deck. The master suite is elevated with a queen-sized four-poster bed, ensuite bathroom & its own private patio with stunning island views. All rooms have mosquito netting for each bed.



Hummingbird is located in Cap Estate and is 5 minutes from the golf course and 15 minutes from the bustling Rodney Bay district. Beaches and several resort spa hotels are in the immediate vicinity.

    This is a well maintained property in a lovely position. Everything you could possibly need was provided and Velda the housekeeper looked after us very well. No air conditioning but the traditional slatted windows along with plenty of fans kept us cool inside. We explored the island reviving memories of our last holiday on St Lucia 17 years ago. A lovely break after the last couple of years of Covid lockdowns.
