Stayed Mar 4, 2026A truly special stay – everything we needed and moreWe had the most wonderful stay at Villa Canary. It really was everything we hoped for and more. The villa itself is beautiful, spacious, and very well equipped, with incredible views and a peaceful setting that made it feel like a proper escape. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The pool and outdoor areas were a real highlight – we spent so much time there as a family. What made this stay particularly special for us was how well the space worked for our family’s needs. We were travelling with children with additional needs, and the villa gave us the flexibility, privacy, and calm environment that you simply don’t get in a hotel. It allowed everyone to regulate, relax, and genuinely enjoy the experience in their own way.Cathy was a fantastic host – warm, responsive, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Any small issues were sorted quickly and efficiently, which made everything feel easy and stress-free.She also arranged a personal chef for us, which made a huge difference to our stay. Chef Raphael was outstanding – not only was the food absolutely delicious, but he went above and beyond to safely cater for our extensive allergy needs. That level of care and understanding is rare and meant we could fully relax and enjoy meals without worry. The location in Cap Estate was ideal – quiet and safe, yet still within easy reach of beaches, restaurants, and everything we needed.

Stayed Dec 19, 2025We had such an incredible visit to St Lucia. Villa Canary is everything that you could want in a place to stay. We enjoyed stunning views of the ocean each morning with our coffee. It’s convenient to Rodney Bay Marina and its many places to visit. Our hosts were so kind, they took care of everything we needed, even inviting us over for snacks, drinks, lovely conversation, and the most amazing sunset! We can’t wait to plan our next trip to st Lucia!

Stayed Dec 23, 2023Villa Canary was the perfect spot for our family to relax and enjoy the northernmost tip of gorgeous Saint Lucia. The villa provided a comfortable retreat after long days of golf and sightseeing. Cathy, the owner, went above and beyond to welcome us, provide recommendations and introduce us to this special getaway island.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Villa Canary is a wonderful place for a holiday. My husband and I spent two fantastic weeks there with our two daughters and my mother and we could have stayed there forever! Juan, Celeste and Cathy were wonderful hosts and went out of their way to make us feel welcome from the moment we arrived – and to answer all of our questions and help us with anything that we needed. Our older daughter celebrated her 6th birthday while we were there and they helped to make sure that she had a special day. At the villa, there was lots of space for our girls to run around (both inside and outside in the garden) and they loved the play structure and pool. The view of Martinique from the porch is wonderful and we enjoyed watching the boats sail by while eating lunch outside. The villa itself is quite spacious with four bedrooms (one king, one queen and the others with two single beds) with their own ensuite with outdoor shower (loved it!) and air conditioning. The main area is open concept with a cathedral ceiling – the kitchen is huge and had everything that we needed and the living room and dining areas were lovely as well especially with the beautiful mural that is painted on one of the walls. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of Villa Canary, but were never far from anything that we needed. We rented a vehicle while we were there and it was only a short drive (less than 10 minutes) into Rodney Bay for groceries or restaurants with a couple of restaurants and a golf course even closer. There are a few beaches within a 10 minute drive of the villa - Reduit Beach in Rodney Bay, Pigeon Point in Gros Islet and Cotton Bay beach (great for kite surfing). We went to a different beach every day - nothing is really that far in St Lucia and we drove all over the island (1 ½ hours from one end to the other) to see waterfalls, plantations, the Castries market and an aerial tram ride in the rainforest. We fell in love with St Lucia and can’t wait to go back again next year!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We found a home away from home (and the deep winter cold of Ottawa) here in lovely St Lucia, overlooking the Atlantic and with a view of Martinique from the porch - magical. Nothing but natural sounds, and wonderful sea breezes to keep you comfortable day and night. The outdoor showers were a lovely experience, and the spacious kitchen and great room provide a welcoming heart for the villa. Outdoors, a lovely walled garden gave our toddler a wonderful place to explore and collect new treasures; the owner was kind enough to offer a car seat and a playpen with a good mattress to use as a bed for our little one while we were there. A car or SUV is essential, and the gorgeous and quiet beaches of Pigeon Island National Park are only a short drive away, as are well-equipped grocery stores and restaurants. The owners and their family in St Lucia made us really welcome, and could not have been kinder or more helpful - a real pleasure meeting all of them, and we hope to see them again in the future.
