Paradise - Port Ixtapa Villa! Ocean View @ Exclusive Yacht Club

The Porto Ixtapo condo is very spacious, clean and beautifully appointed with a tasteful Mexican flair. The kitchen is fully equipped and we enjoyed delicious meals with ingredients we had purchased from the local market in Zihuatanejo.The view from the condo and nearby infinity pool are stunning!! The grounds are exceptionally manicured throughout the entire property. We had the pool to ourselves most of our 4-day stay and watched the boats and yachts come in and out of the marina along with beautiful exotic birds. Beds were comfy and the AC was excellent in the bedrooms. Washer/dryer was a bonus!The restaurant onsite has excellent menu options and is well priced. Although we cooked most of our meals during our stay, we loved the coconut shrimp and purchased margs and beer! We took the Sharky boat a few times and Captain Maurillo always had a welcoming smile. The boat is free but we tipped 50 pesos per person each way. Angela the host was most responsive prior and during our stay. She accommodated a couple of special requests which surpassed our expectations. Note there are stairs leading from the kitchen to the main living area and bedrooms. Also lots of stairs outdoors so this is not the place for you if mobility does not come easy. We definitely recommend this condo. You will not be disappointed!

The Porto Ixtapa Marina and Yacht Club facility was exceptional for its beautiful uncrowded pools, in-house marine shuttle convenience, restaurant food and price, gate security and competent maintenance. All staff were very friendly and helpful but knowing a bit of Spanish or using a translator app really helped. The facility's location was very private but access to buses, taxis and the larger Ixtapa business area was easy. Be aware that there are many stairs between the facility amenities so good mobility is an important factor.The 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit itself was nicely laid out, spacious, clean, and beds were very comfortable. Our hostess, Angela, was very friendly and responsive and provided ample information right from the time we reserved until the end of our month's stay. (When a fan stopped working, she arranged a maintenance man the next day who fixed it.)Carmen provided excellent weekly cleaning and our taxi driver, Victor, spoke good English, was totally reliable and shared lots of area information with us during the many times we called on himWe always felt very safe in this facility and in the Ixtapa area generally, and would definitely return to this facility and the same unit again.

Location, views ,tranquil,cleanliness, - magic property on low impact beautiful private marina- 6 days and it was heaven - it doesnt get better- Ixtapa people are great- the tender ride to beach side of the harbor- an awesome property host in a great setting- big winner !!!!!!!!!!

So loved our time at Ixtapa Marina. Everything was absolutely awesome. Just not enough words. Everyone was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Great way to end our trip!! Restaurant was good and inexpensive

The grounds around the property are very nice and well taken care of. Beautiful pool area and excellent on site restaurant. Everyone was very nice and very helpful. The unit itself is in need of some repairs, updates and cleaning. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

My wife and I traveled down to Ixtapa from Alaska. The temperature during our stay in February was a steady 85 degrees with 80% humidity. This was pretty warm for us, but Angelas condo had plenty of Fans and air conditioning in both bedrooms. The Condo is Large, Clean and well laid out. The view off the Patio is splendid, you are looking out over the Harbor and have an Ocean view as well.. I am an early riser, so I enjoyed the sunrise every day from inside the condo or on the Patio. The kitchen is well set up, but we mostly ate out as there are many restaurants to try in Ixtapa at good values. The restaurant on site is large, inexpensive and good, and a short walk from the Condo. The property is well manicured and as beautiful as anything in Hawaii. It is very quiet around the facility, with a bit more activity on the holidays. There were half a dozen Canadien couples that we met, but that was pretty much it on site. We are in our 60s, and most of the Canadiens were as well.Mostly we all hung out either in and or around the infinity pool that is a couple hundred feet from Angela's Condo. There are stairs everywhere, and down to Angelas Condo as well. My wife has a prosthetic leg so I was a little concerned, but she had no problem with the stairs. If you have serious mobility issues, this is probably not the place for you, look for a rental on the ground level. There is 24 hour security as well in this gated community. This was a wonderful place, we highly recommend it !

We had a great time at Porto Ixtapa. The marina boat Sharky was great to get us to the other side to go to the beach. The pools were clean and everybody was welcoming.

It's a lovely area and condo. Having never been I had no idea what to expect. If you have mobility issues then this is not the place for you. The main area does not have AC and the time we were there was an exceptionally hot and humid stretch of weather so ouch. House keeping never arrived. The gentleman at the restaurant was amazing and quite helpful with our needs.

Beautiful property. The location is a little removed from the action. The staff was really nice. But a small language barrier.

Great place to vacation. Close to amenities. Koodoos to our host for prompt and accurate responses to all our questions.
