Stayed Dec 31, 1969This is a fantastic venue to stay at in Mauritius. It is very central to everything you need. Amarita is absolutely fantastic and went out of her way to make sure that our stay was enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Phil also arranged an amazing Anniversary dinner for us at La Plage Beach Club, where they made us a bespoke meal to accommodate our dietary requirements. It was the perfect setting for the celebration of our 25th Wedding Anniversary. I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone visiting Grand Baie! Really worthwhile. Thank you Phil for your attentiveness to our needs, greatly appreciated.

Stayed Aug 17, 2019Lovely living quarters. No bad surprises. Close to everything you need. Caring host. Competent and helpful personnel on site. On’y ´complaint’ : Time just went by too fast, as it always is when you are really enjoying your holidays ;-)

Stayed Dec 31, 1969i am still at athena villa #1 writing the post, i am here for a week and its just awesome!!!!!!! we have our private heated pool and a very beautiful and well equipped villa. the service is perfect and the housekeeping personal are very nice. I will be definety coming back. this is the best in mauriitius! don't miss the private beach club at night, just a dream :)

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This was our second visit at Villa Athena A1 (we went back in August 2013)... - We got a complementary lunch/dinner at the nearby Domaines des Allizee which was simple but fantastic (food quality, service and environment). - Back to the villa...its very quiet and private with its own pool and heated! so we can even go there during winter n still have same fun and at cheaper price since winter is the low season! yayyy! - We were a group of friends celebrating a bday..so we invited a couple of friends for dinner..fully equipped kitchen and a bbq outside..u can make a real feast!! - We stayed in the pool till late with no1 around to ask us to come out like it is at the hotel! - In the morning b.fast is delivered to the villa so wen u r up the table is set n everyfin ready...even tea! No need to wake up early and get ready to go for b.fast as it is the case wen u stayin at the hotel - The villa is cleaned by the personnel daily so again no stress! - U also get access to a private beach and beach restaurant which is also very nice though am not quite for PRIVATE beaches. -The only problem is that its 5 min drive to the beach and u need to take the private shuttle or have a car to go around ...but not being near the beach doesnt bother me... so...Go go goooo for it! - P.S: Its Great for honeymoons as well ;)
