Two weeks of heaven. We visited for two weeks as a family (three couples). The accommodation is spread over a large footprint, meaning we never felt on top of each other and could find our own space. The pictures on the website do not convey the beauty of the location and facilities. An outstanding villa, with all modcons and a beautiful terrace and pool area. Would highly recommend.

Our whole experience of renting this wonderful house was seamless. Communication was excellent with clear instructions and Sarah was there to answer messages straight away. The house itself suited us perfectly. Plenty of room to spread out. Our two teenage boys enjoyed the pool and playing pool. The patio area is fantastic with a dining table and comfy seating to relax and admire the view. We walked from the house down to the village hoping to find Colin’s to hire some bikes. Unfortunately it was closed but we ended up hiring bikes in Carcassonne and cycled along the Canal du Midi to Trèbes. All in all a perfect week away and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Many thanks!

First impressions as you walk through the door are of a spacious, well equipped villa, then you see the view. The property has everything you would need. The kitchen is small but functional. The communal area is open plan with a large lounge and dining area. The bedrooms are big and comfortable. The terrace, with it's view across the valley, is where we spent most of our time when we weren't in the pool, which is big enough to swim lengths. A wonderful place surrounded by historical, cultural and gastromic delights. What's not to like?

We chose this villa above others due to its blend of modern comfort, generous space and stunning location and we were not at all dissapointed. The Villa has clearly benefited from a recent partial upgrade/extension that has presumably added a whole new wing to the property that has added two large bedrooms, one with ensuite and huge luxurious bathroom. Both of these bedrooms have private balconies that offer fantastic views across to the nearby village of Aragon. They also have air conditioning, a real blessing on a number of nights. The rest of the villa is perhaps less modern and ready for a refresh, but nonetheless offer great space and comfort. With an additional two bedrooms, with an adjoining shared bathroom. Our favourite parts of the villa were the huge patio veranda with outside dining area, which again have fabulous views over to Aragon and the distant Pyrenees, and the pool about 20 meters away from the villa, perfectly private and a great place for the family to relax. Nuala and Nigel were perfect hosts, sending us all the details needed, and Sarah the nearby property manager was also very helpful in case of any queries. We would definitely choose to stay here again on visiting this part of France, and would strongly recommend to anyone wanting a perfect blend of comfort, privacy and space.

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful house on the outskirts of Aragon. Very well equipped for families and young children (we had a 16 month year old with us). We spent most of the time outdoors on the terrace or in the pool. Very convenient for Carcassone airport. Highly recommended - I hope we'll be back some time in the future.

We stayed as a family group covering 4 generations age from 80 down to 2, and this house hit the spot for us; it is generously apportioned so we had space to spread out and nicely furnished but not to the extent that we were worried about grandchildren ruining the furniture. The pool is lovely. There was an internet connection problem while we were there, but the support provided by caretaker Sarah was excellent and the issue was quickly resolved. It's just a 20 minute drive into Carcassonne (which you can see in the distance from the terrace) - we would have no hesitation staying here again.

Great house! The pool was lovely, and the views from the main bedrooms and the veranda were beautiful. Very close to Carcassonne airport and only 1 hour and 40 mins from Toulouse, so great accessibility. Just a shame that we couldn't access the tennis courts which were just a short walk up the road. They were empty every time we drove past and we love to play! Thank you to Nigel and Nuala for being so swift with any enquiries we had. Highly recommended!

We have had two fantastic weeks, we still believe it only was one but we guess maths and calender cannot be mistaking. The house is in great condition, we did not miss anything, whenever we had questions Nuala and Nigel were there and, once at the house, Sarah and Dan were able to answer/help quickly. We really love this location, not only because of local and regional amenities, but even more because of this great house, which we will remember for a long time, as it was one of our most relaxing holidays for the last 7 years. We hope to come back soon, we would love to return already next week, however, reality is telling we need to do less relaxing things until next summer. But, reflectig this holidays, our accumulators have been recharged to cover for autumn, winter and spring, so we are well prepared to come back next year. Thanks Nuala and Nigel, Yours Andrea & Philipp
