From the moment we booked, the concierge staff was responsive, professional, and extremely helpful. They assisted with transportation, excursions, recommendations, reservations, and any questions we had throughout our stay. Their communication was excellent, and they helped make the entire trip feel effortless and stress-free.A very special thank you goes to the house mom and housekeeping team. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. The house was consistently clean, organized, and beautifully maintained. Every morning we were treated to delicious breakfasts that our entire family looked forward to. The food was wonderful, and the care put into every meal was evident.One thing worth mentioning is that, because of the tropical environment, we occasionally noticed a few small bugs around the property. This is completely normal for the area and was not a reflection of the cleanliness of the home. In fact, the house mom was incredibly attentive and proactive, checking the property daily and quickly taking care of anything that appeared. Her dedication, hard work, and attention to detail were greatly appreciated and did not go unnoticed.The warmth, kindness, and hospitality shown by everyone made our celebration even more special. We left with wonderful memories, feeling grateful for the care and effort that went into making our stay such a success.We would absolutely recommend this property and team to anyone visiting the area.

In retrospect would have preferred ATV. Roads are not great. But the villa, staff, concierge were absolutely amazing. View is fantastic.

From start (booking inquiry) to finish (checking out and getting back to the airport), the experience was smooth. The house itself is gorgeous with wonderful views. Totally clean and well stocked. We made daily excursions every other day or so (the volcanic national park, Monte Verde Cloud Forest and others). These were arranged by Five Star. Drivers, tickets etc. were pre-arranged and scheduled. These Major days took some driving time, but were well worth it for us. Other days, we explored the nearby beaches and local activities (estuary tours, snorkeling outings). We enjoyed everything. Our kids are fluent in Spanish, which was helpful, but when it was just my wife and I, we had no problems at all. Everyone we met was and lovely and genuine.Eating-wise, we took full advantage of the daily breakfast preparation. We chose a late breakfast that kept us fortified until dinner -- stashing and eating breakfast leftovers in the afternoon and then cooking at home for dinner, or going out/ordering. The grocery at the bottom of the hill was convenient. We liked taking the walk down. The climb up with a bag of groceries was not easy, but totally manageable for us -- and it was nice to hop into the pool upon getting back. And, of course, we could always drive down if we chose to.We are a pretty low-maintenance family. I think we could have arranged for fancier things -- chef-made dinners, massages etc. Not quite our style, but probably great for others.Romi at Five Star was great to deal with and very responsive when we had a question or two, And Febe, who came every day and made breakfast and did some quick cleaning etc.(we could have asked for more, but didn't), is an absolute gem.Recommend without hesitation.

Our daily breakfast was beyond what we expected. Delicious! Our massages were excellent as well.

Love it. Beautiful home and property. Amazing view sizable pool. Pristine. Would stay again in a heart beat. Great house mom, property management, and grounds keepers. Guys that cleaned the grill after we used it made it look new twice!

Our house Mom tidied the house daily and prepared the most delicious food. Tamarindo is okay however, typical tourist town with crime and over priced groceries.

Very nice place and unpaired service, we had a wonderful time and we'd book the same place with no hesitation.

Definitely a 5 star stay. Once you get used to the very steep road to access the property, it was the perfect spot for our entire family. Romina was excellent, and even came and found us when google maps led us up an incorrect road. Febe and Ingrid were so kind and attentive. We loved their awesome breakfasts and how they cared for us so kindly! Views from every spot in the home are amazing!

I love the infinity pool. The laundry room was huge. The beds were comfortable, the house mom was incredible. Everything about our stay was A plus plus with stars. The manager was always on top of our messages. If we needed anything she got back to us very quickly. She was very polite and kind. The breakfast the house mom made us every morning was delicious.If I can make one recommendation is to add some TVs to the areas where people gather just so the sport freaks are able to see the game while lounging near the pool and having that beautiful view.
