Magnificent large charming villa near the beach

We were 3 families staying together with children aged 6-20 for a long weekend. The hosts could not have been more accommodating & welcoming. There was everything you needed to keep everyone amused & bring us all together whilst offering enough different spaces to be together, have time out, be in or out of sun anytime of day. Really was perfect, hassle-free location. Would highly recommend.

This exquisite house lived up to all our expectations. Every corner of it was immaculate, charming, beautiful. Alicia and Karina met us for check in and they were so welcoming and warm. Very well equipped (though bear in mind no welcome pack, so you'll need to shop for basic provisions on arrival, not a issue as there are two supermarkets within a 9 minute walk). Generously provided with towels, toiletries, dishwasher tabs, laundry supplies etc. Laurence was very responsive on VRBO chat to the one minor issue that cropped up, it was dealt with immediately and smoothly. The house was magical, the sound of cicadas as a constant backdrop, the beautiful trees, dinner under the vines and fairy lights in the garden and the water lilies on the pond opening and closing through the day were some of my favourite memories. The locale is a mixed bag; 10/10 for convenience, everything you need is within a ten minute walk, but a lot of empty restaurants and shop fronts on the main road make it feel a bit sad. Once on the beach though there is a great choice of cool and lively places to eat. We recommend the newly opened Tigre Madaro for dinner directly on the beach with sand between your toes, and the Spritzeria for daytime drinks and spa treatments. A truly memorable holiday in a truly special house. Thank you Laurence and Erik.

What a wonderful place! The house is warm and welcoming. That sad part is leaving!! It felt like home from the moment we arrived. It was a pleasure to stay there and we look forward to coming back! Thank you for hosting us.

The Villa is very beautiful. We were 11 with 5 kids and grand parents and it has been an amasing stay. The Villa is perfectly located close to the most beautiful beaches of the island and shops in Sant Antoni. The swimming pool and all the facilities are great for kids. The kitchen and the barbecue are very well equipped. A large laundry is a plus? The garden is very relaxing for the parents?Thank you Laurence and Alicia for hosting us!

We had an amazing two weeks staying at Laurence & Erik's lovely home. The pool and gardens in particular are just absolutely fantastic. We had children from age 2 to Teenagers with us and all were very happy with our stay and the fabulous villa. Alicia and her team were fantastic and, along with Laurence and Erik, were very responsive to any questions/requests we had both beforehand and during our stay. The only disappointment was having to leave and head home at the end of our 2 weeks!

The villa is very well equipped, organised and laid out. It's in a fantastic location, even the beach is down the road! Everyone felt they had their space and the rooms were clean and super comfortable. The way the villa is laid out meant that it was sociable and fun, but also very private - we made use of ALL the areas, even the roof terrace for coffee in the morning overlooking the sea. The pool is beautiful, the gardens wonderfully maintained and inside the villa it had everything you could need or want. Alicia and team were so welcoming and really looked after us - they were great! Laurence and Eric so very helpful before our trip and helped make our arrival feel all the more special by helping my sister organise a little surprise for me - so thank you VERY much for opening your home to us and making my birthday such an amazing and truly memorable event. I cannot recommend highly enough - you won't be disappointed.

Despite Covid or maybe because of it we had a wonderful time at Can Alcantara. We spent a lot more time in the Villa than we normally would and we could not have had a better Villa to do it in. We ranged from 5 to 12 people At different times over our two weeks and the Villa has the ability to feel spacious when you are 12 yet cozy when you are only 5. A trick that is pulled off due the the fabulous design of the layout which is very clever. Finally we loved the decor and the furnishings; smart enough to be chic but no so smart that you felt uncomfortable lounging on it - in my view they have got that tricky balance just right. Thank you Erik and Laurence For allowing us to stay at your fabulous house, we had a super time.

We had a great stay here! Super friendly, accommodating, and helpful host. This was a beautiful villa suitable for a large group. Everyone had a great time from the grandparents to the children in the group. Would stay here again!

We are a large blended family with varied wants and needs! From a 2 year old building sandcastles to the 20’s set wanting Ibiza party - style. Can Alcantara provided a great meeting place near the beach, near walks, restaurants and supermarkets. And near enough all the action. There is plenty of space around the pool and dining al fresco was fabulous. We had a chef in a couple of nights and a yoga instructor some mornings - all recommended by the owner Laurence, who was super helpful and were the staff. A truly lovely week.

I have just spent a long weekend celebrating my 40th at the villa - and LOVED every second. The villa is beautiful - especially the gardens and pool area. The lay out is perfect and feels very secluded. The hosts were amazing giving us an early check in /late check out ! The rooftop area was a great location to do some sunrise/sunset yoga sessions.. I would 100% recomend this villa x
