Luxury Villa steps from Venice Beach Children friendly

An older property, but well-furnished and very convenient location to beach, restaurants, and shopping.

Needs some TLC -very close to beach

We had such a lovely time at Barcelona Villa at Venice Beach. The unit had much more space than pictures show and everything was clean and ready. Getting to the condo was a breeze and check-in was simple too. We were literally steps from the beach and a short walk to shopping and dining. The upstairs loft would be great for kids that can tend to themselves - gives them a bit of privacy and some down time alone. The other two bedrooms on the main floor were spacious and each had their own bathrooms. I recommend grabbing snacks, drinks, and coffee before you get there so you never have to leave this relaxing little spot in Venice. Cheers

Great location and good accommodation for price. The space was nicer than the pictures depicted. Recommend adding a kettle to make hot water. There was also no sponge or brush to clean pots and pans.

Very close to beach grandkids loved the loft beds

The outside of the property needs some work. Just plain old broom work would do wonders. Our unit was upstairs. The steps were steep and narrow. Handrails need improvement. Inside the unit was very nice. Some furniture was dated, yet more than adequate. The dishwasher was not working, and the water dispenser on the fridge was broken. Someone commented on enjoying the balcony. I was a little misled about that. The balcony was narrow, and the view was the back of another building containing more units. Overall, the building was old, but really, the unit was nice. We were very comfortable for our stay.

Overall great location and nice unit. Would stay again.

It was close to the beach and not to far from town

My family of 5 (3 boys ranging from 2-13) thoroughly enjoyed this property. It was very close to downtown, even in walking distance. The shark teeth beach was only 2 miles away, and there were basketball courts also within walking distance that the boys really enjoyed. Very comfortable and clean, great location.

Property is exactly as described. Perfect location—close to the beach and the downtown area. The loft area was a great place for the kids to have a little privacy. Would easily sleep more than four, but we enjoyed not feeling cramped. Definitely recommend and would love to stay again!

If you are looking for a fancy place to stay, this isn't it, but if you are looking for a budget friendly place that has an amazing location to the beach and downtown, this is a great spot. We happened upon this place when at 3:30pm we received an email that our other VRBO place that we rented just a block away (#2125739) was cancelled (check in was 4:00pm) due to an issue with the air conditioner. We had just drove three days from Canada and couldn't believe what we saw in email. The host/owner wouldn't answer me after he cancelled and refunded our money. I can't believe he wouldn't get an emergency repair service or something. We called VRBO and they said they would cover another place up to $1000 more than we paid. We searched and found this gem. We drove up and the property manager and cleaner were on site. The property manager, Kelsey, went above and beyond to get us into the available unit. She is a keeper. The kitchen and primary bath are great! The bed was comfortable. The rest of the place could use some TLC. The majority of screens on the windows were torn. The windows were super dirty. The stairs to the unit are steep. Would we stay here again? Yep, we would. We walked to the beach several times a day and also downtown for meals. Fantastic location!

1/2 block from the beach. Nice surrounding neighborhood. Stairs to 2nd floor unit were a little steep, but fine for us.

Location was not right on beach but a couple blocks away…clearly walkable, plus carts are available for use. Beach supplies also available. Walls are pretty thin so can hear a lot. Enough seating in living room. Bed in master bedroom was firm and so comfortable. Place about a mile from basketball courts, restaurants and shops. Overall, place met our needs and we had a wonderful vacation

I recently spent four days and three nights at a property in Venice Beach, FL, and overall, it was a memorable experience with my family celebrating my dad's 73rd birthday. The location was fantastic, with just a five-minute walk to the beach, making it convenient for us to soak up the sun and enjoy the ocean breeze. Unfortunately my dad was not able to make this short walk. However, there was a public parking available right at the beach entrance. We would just drive him over to enjoy the beach. The accommodation was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate six people, and the fact that it was pet-friendly was a huge plus for us. One of the highlights was the inclusion of beach supplies, which made our time on the shore even more enjoyable. Additionally, the kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare some meals and save on dining expenses. The proximity to the lifeguard station made us feel safe, and the atmosphere was definitely family-friendly, perfect for quality time with loved ones. However, there were a few downsides to our stay. The beds were uncomfortably firm for both myself and my guests, which affected our sleep quality a little bit. It was disappointing to find that towels were not provided, as this is a basic amenity that we expected to be included. Additionally, the loft area was quite narrow, making it a bit cramped and uncomfortable for adults. Despite these minor issues, we were still able to make some great memories together as a family.

Cute apartment with all essentials needed. Very close to beach and down town area. Celebrated my daughters 20th B-Day. Great Weekend.
