Stayed Aug 20, 2022The house is much bigger than it appears in the photos, the living area is very spacious with a clean, well equipped kitchen. The pool and garden were great, with some neat modern touches. The location of the property is at the edge of the town on a very quiet road, making the overall experience very peaceful. The town is has everything you need with several supermarkets close by. The property is perfectly placed to explore the famous chateaux and we would recommend a canoeing trip on the Cher under the Chateau de Chenonceau. Communication with the hosts, Gilles and Évelyne, was great and gave us everything we needed. Thanks!

Stayed Jul 17, 2021We stayed at this house for a week and were very comfortable. Communication with the owners was uncomplicated as well as the hand over from the house keeper. Everything was very clean, the pool is great and is heated to 27 degrees. The house is much larger than we thought, the pictures dont do it justice. It actually has 5 very large bedrooms upstairs, one with a single bed, 3 rooms with queen beds (160x200)(one with an ensuite) and one room with two single beds, including a large play area. There are in total three toilets and two showers. The area is very quiet, the garden is lovely and secluded. There is a fridge freezer with and ice cube dispenser in the kitchen and it has everything you need to prepare a meal as well as a BBQ outside. We had a very enjoyable stay at this house, the town of Montrichard was tiny but lovely and had everything we needed and we were able to enjoy the Loire Valley region from there and its beautiful Chateaux‘s.
