Luxury Oceanview Villa with Infinity Pool, Staff, Concierge & Beach Shuttle

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an amazing time at Villa Haven. The pictures do not disappoint, however, it is even better in person. We felt like we were on the set of a movie. Romi, our concierge, took care of the many questions I had as we planned a wedding accompanied by our adult children. She is very friendly and professional. The villa sits on top of a hill overlooking the Pacific from the patio and infinity pool. A colorful assortment of birds used the pool to get a sip of water as they flew by which was fun to watch. We saw a few monkeys hanging out in the nearby trees. The drive up the hill would be a challenge for the inexperienced as the road is partially dirt until other construction is complete. However, we took full advantage of the free shuttle service offered daily. Wilfredo (“Wil”) took us to dinner in town and picked us up to go home. He also drove us to and from a catamaran excursion. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know him. Extremely friendly and engaging with our group. Anna prepared delicious breakfasts for us, and it was a little different each day. She was also very friendly and we got to know her during our stay. She also helped us practice our Spanish. The house is big enough that the eight of us could have time to ourselves but the open living area and outdoor space also encouraged hanging out together, which is just what we wanted as we blend families. Even the gym had everything needed to get a good workout if you choose to do so. Also, the grounds and pool were immaculate as the crew made sure of it with daily upkeep. We will always remember our time here. The Pura Vida spirit shone through everywhere we went and everyone we met. Thank you for making this dream vacation come true!

Very rough road up the hill to the house and not on any of the maps so uber and other drivers could never find us to pick us up and we had to walk several blocks to a location where they could find us which caused delays. Once at the house, I can’t say enough good things about it

The house had a stunning hilltop location close to everything but the road to it is rough so get a 4 wheel car not a golf cart.Magnant!

Our house mom was so wonderful and so enjoyed our breakfast outside each morning with the gorgeous views and weather. Only complaint was the bugs, one night 1000’s of ants were coming into a bedroom. Used up all the bug spray they had.

My husband and I along with her four boys ages 10 to 17 book this house for a family vacation. The house is absolutely stunning, so clean, brand new, pool is absolutely beautiful and huge! Even though it is hot in Costa Rica, we loved the hot tub. It is also very quiet. I would honestly say the most rewarding experience about this house is the personal concierge service! Romi, our concierge expert, helped me book all of our trips, private transportation to and from different areas in Costa Rica. Booking through her was much cheaper than booking private transportation. I don’t think I would ever travel to Costa Rica without having her services and help that she provided, made the trip so much more enjoyable, and cost worthy! We booked an adventure with Ariel, our transportation driver, and he was wonderful, was genuinely a very thankful and positive person, which is refreshing to be around! I would definitely ask for him if you booked any tours!

We had an awesome stay at this beautiful place. The staff and the property manager Romi had provided EXCELLENT service and communication before, during and after. Highly recommend to book this house. Wow! We were greeted upon check-in with staff from five star resorts. They served us fresh pico de gallo, guacamole, chips and piña coladas. Every morning we were greeted by friendly staff who arrived at 7 am and stayed until about 3 PM tidying up and making us a huge breakfast spread that we enjoyed on the deck overlooking the ocean. If we were around in the afternoon, they made us strawberry daiquiris or piña coladas. Five star resort staff were incredible in scheduling activities for us. We were given suggestions of activities, restaurants, and places to shop. One day they even arranged for massages and manicures at the house. The inside of the house was amazing with so much attention to detail. The light fixtures and artwork and furniture were beautiful. The beds, pillows, and down comforters were so comfortable, and there were cozy, fuzzy blankets in all the bedrooms. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could possibly need if you would like to stay in and cook your own dinner. There were decks overlooking the pool and ocean off all bedrooms, multiple places for entertaining and dining, and the infiniti pool was like none I’ve ever seen. Getting into the pool felt like slipping into a lukewarm bath. The views of the sunset each evening were heavenly. We heard monkeys almost every day and saw monkeys up close in the trees. A rental car is needed to explore the area as shuttles will have a difficult time reaching the house as it sits privately atop a mountain.

The views of Tamarindo Bay and the jungle are absolutely out of this world! Such an incredible place to watch the sunsets and listen to the monkeys. The home itself is absolutely gorgeous and the pool/deck/outdoor kitchen areas are to die for. There is plenty of space to gather together, and also spots to spend some downtime alone or as a couple. The proximity to Tamarindo is great, to enjoy all that the town has to offer and then be back at Villa Haven in a few minutes to catch the sunset.
