Luxury house, 7min walk to the beach, with private pool, jacuzzi and games room

We really enjoyed our stay in Ericeira. The villa is exactly as described and very comfortable. Didi was great and very responsive and helpful whenever we had a question or needed anything. It’s an easy walk into the lovely old town but steep on the way up. We often took an Uber back which are cheap and plentiful. It can get windy at the villa

Only one shower working and privacy issues due to being in a bedroom with glass window into shower. 1980’s massage shower defective. Pool very cold and they wanted €75 per day!!!!! Extra to heat it. Kitchen dated and not luxury, leaky sink area, Coffee machine from 1985 Patio area very small and not particularly private. Decking needs some repair. Decor quite dated. I feel the house was not of the standard for the price we paid.

Overall the property was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Plenty of room for our group of 6 adults and located close to the town center and ocean. The walk into town was all downhill but the return was up some very steep hills. We took the approach of walking into town but taking an Uber back. The Uber was usually around 4 euro from town. Each bedroom had a bathroom but the bedroom with the jacuzzi tub had no shower making it very inconvenient. Another bedroom had a shower enclosed in a very narrow tube which was also difficult to use. The bedroom at the top of the steps had a normal shower but the valves leaked heavily and the floor was made from unsealed wooden slats that never dried – breeding ground for bacteria. The house was bright and had a pleasant breeze when the windows were open. The area was quiet with no traffic however there were barking dogs but that cannot be controlled by the owner (we also experienced loud construction noise from across the street the entire week.) The appliances were clean and modern however the over controls had no markings so it was impossible to know what mode or temperature was set. Beware of the Tourist Tax of 2 euro per day per guest that must be paid in cash. Apparently this was noted on the Portuguese version of VRBO but there was no mention on the US version. The property manager threatened to take away our key until it was paid. Finally, the WIFI was good with fast throughput but there was no signal after 9PM each night.

Lovely villa. Everything you need for a great holiday with a 10 minute walk into town. This Villa is great for a family. There's lots of space and everything you need. Each of the 3 bedrooms has their own bathroom. Great living space, kitchen, pool area and vey large garage with table games for the kids.

We had the wonderful stay here. The home is spacious and luxurious. We had everything we needed. Lovely views. A quiet neighbourhood within walking distance to town and beach. No need for a car. Uber is very much available and reasonable. Owners were really friendly and communicative and helped us with any queries or questions. Ericeira is beautiful - we will return!

Great villa with all the amenities you require! We stayed with 6 adults and 2 children (18 months and 7) and had a great time. The bedrooms are modern and spacious. The kitchen had everything we required. Checkin was smooth- we were met at the property despite our flight being delayed. Short walk to the beach and into town - 7-10 minutes. And about 10-15 minute walk to the supermarket. Will definitely consider booking again if we visit in the future.

We loved the house and the town of Ericeira. The house is comfortable and airy. Great table table tennis area and the pool is small but perfect. Plenty of good family restaurants and bars in the town and the beaches are spectacular. It is a short downhill walk from the house to the south beach, but it can be a longer track back up the hill to get home!

The communication and welcome was fantastic but did not make up for our overall opinion of the house. The pool is small with practically no garden (weather didnt help). The house is not fit for 10 as set out in the ad (lack of beds and kitchen utencils). Barking dogs kept us up at night and the beds are uncomfortable. In short, we find it is very overpriced.
