Luxury Estate Villa Gorica packed in modern facilities, pickleball playground!

Our week here was unforgettable! It’s an incredible property & the architecture makes you feel like you are stepping back in time but with all the modern comforts. It was also extra special because Nikolina helped arrange every detail from the warmest welcome with the best food to amazing excursions each day (kayaking, yacht day, ATVs, & the best old town tour guide) Thank you!

Villa Gorica is a perfect house for a family holiday. It’s a good size for everyone to spread out and have private space. The pool is excellent and we had hours of fun playing in it. We didn’t hire cars as using taxis was more cost efficient. Nikolina has been a perfect host, both before and during our stay. Thank you Nikolina for a great holiday. It was our first visit to Croatia and will definitely return.

The property is in magnificent shape. The house itself is large, beautiful and comfortable. The grounds are meticulous. It was definitely much grander than we expected. Our host, Nikolina, was actually the greatest part of the villa. We were only in Dubrovnik for 3 days. She helped us to arrange a trip to the old city, an forgettable day on a catamaran that toured the islands, and a great family style dinner in the country side. She arranged all these events and took care of getting us there with her own drivers. one couldn't ask for a better planned 3 days. Count yourself lucky if you are able to book a stay at this villa.

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Villa Gorica. The 'we' consisted of our family - 6 of us from the UK and 4 from Australia, with an age range from 3 to 69. We had high expectations after reading all the 5* reviews and we were not disappointed. The villa creates an air of luxury, space, comfort, history and more, while feeling welcoming and homely. Everyone could have their own space and then gather together by the pool, around the table by the barbeque, on the boule area, etc. As everyone has already mentioned, the owner, Nikolina is definitely 5* and helped to make our stay so special. From her answers to our questions before we arrived, her friendly greeting complimented by the drinks and huge bowl of fruit on our arrival, clean towels mid week and her help with arrangements to enhance our visit. A week was not long enough to do all we wanted to do, but we would certainly recommend the boat trip and the meal cooked at the villa by Nikolas, the chef - all arranged by Nikolina. The food was sublime. Our thanks also go to Nikolina's friend, the lady taxi driver who was so helpful and friendly. We had hired 2 cars, but really could have managed with taxis and buses, as parking is virtually impossible. Be prepared for the ruined buildings behind the nearest beach (a reminder of Croatia troubled past), but the adjacent beaches and cafes and restaurants are lovely. We found the Croatian people very welcoming and friendly and the scenery is stunning. I hope we can return soon. We'll start off saying that this property is nothing short of amazing. However, the star of the show was Nikolina. Definitely the most attentive vacation rental host we've ever encountered. She can arrange for just about anything during your stay. Additionally, she personally drove us around the immediate neighborhood to show us local restaurants , grocery stores, and other local sites. She even arranged for a personal chef to come in and cook dinner for us. The villa itself was one of a kind, and has been in Nikolina's family for generations. Lots of space--and just as pretty as the pictures. We had five kids with us (ages 9-18) and they had plenty of entertainment--pool, bocce ball, etc. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, all recently updated. We will be back for sure--thank you Nikolina!

We recently took all of our kids, their partners and our grandchildren to Nikolina's fabulous Villa Gorica. It could not have been more perfect for everyone. The little ones had loads of space to run around, play, swim and explore. Our teenage granddaughter was even caught smiling!!! The adults loved the space and we spent every night in front of the fire eating and chatting. The Villa is beautiful and very inviting. The rooms are perfectly appointed. Nikolina was incredible. From the correspond we had with her before arriving, right through to the hugs with her as we left. She organized everything for us from airport transfers, grocery store runs and a fabulous day out on a boat. It was truly better than we could ever have expected and the entire family from the 3 year old to the 'oldest' enjoyed every minute. We spent an amazing time at Villa Gorica. The Villa and the huge property are clean, comfortable and equipped with everything you need. What we liked most was the location, offering both privacy and short distances to Sightseeing and shopping opportunities. Not to forget the best host you could imagine. Nikolina is always friendly, helpful and makes you feel home. We do highly recommend to stay at Villa Gorica

First off - the property is amazing and so is the host, Nikolina! We loved our time at the house as well as our time in the beautiful surrounding area. The house has a really cool authentic feel to it, and it is within walking distance to Mlini and a relatively short taxi ride into Dubrovnik. Nikolina made us feel right at home and helped make everything about our trip go smoothly. She is also a fantastic cook and made several meals for us during our stay, including a delicious Croatian lunch for 13 people! This was my third trip to the Dubrovnik area, and I would highly recommend staying here if given the opportunity!

Beautiful villa but Nikolina is the true gem here.❤️She was truly wonderful. Her suggestions are terrific and she is always positive. We only wish the downstairs bedroom had air-conditioning, but that was not a huge deal considering all of the other positives. We’d highly recommend this gorgeous property.
