Stayed Feb 5, 2026We just spent a week at this property with our family of 17 adults and kids of all ages and it exceeded our expectations in every way.The location was absolutely perfect. Being right on the beach with a beautiful pool gave our group the ideal setup for relaxing, playing, and spending quality time together. There was truly something for everyone. The layout worked wonderfully for a large group, and we never felt crowded.The amenities were fantastic and everything was well maintained. The staff was exceptional attentive, helpful, and genuinely kind which made our stay seamless from start to finish.We also felt completely safe in the community, which was important to us with so many kids.Honestly, the photos and listing description do not do this property justice. It offers far more than what you see online.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to other families or large groups looking for a special place to gather.

Stayed Jan 16, 2026The house was fantastic and it was so great to have amenities like the golf cart and paddle boards available. The housekeeper was also lovely and great to have. Playa Flamingo was beautiful and peaceful. One of the reasons we chose that house, as a big group trying to maximize time together and not get overwhelmed with coordination was having so much available, including a concierge service. It was why we were willing to pay a substantially higher price than comparable homes, for amenities and to have high level service and low stress. Unfortunately that aspect did not prove true. The concierge service was not great at communication, slow to respond, and incomplete. So we ended up having numerous back and forth emails close to stay rather than well ahead, last minute confusion coordinating flights despite having sent that information prior, and one pick up at 5AM which had been confirmed but failed to happen, resulting in one guest and her young child who needed a carseat having to get an Uber with no carseat and got pulled over and ticketed. There were also discrepancies between some of the information on the listing and what the concierge says, so confirm everything important to you with the hosts (cost of airport transport, what constitutes a gym, check out time, etc). In general a nice stay but not worth the price given the disappointing service aspect, which was part of what we anticipated given the advertising and price point.

Stayed Nov 15, 2025The house had great direct access to a quiet black sand beach that was not busy. Easy beach walk to two lovely restaurant/bars that could also be accessed using the family-sized golf cart. Close to grocery stores and easily driveable to busier white sand beaches. Surfing at Tamarindo about a 30 minute drive. The concierge arranged surfing lessons with a great instructor.The house has high-end finishes and multiple seating areas that easily accommodated our family of 11, including 3 children under 4 years of age. All the bedrooms were spacious with ensuite washrooms. 4 faced the ocean. The pool was nicely designed with easy access. Kitchen was well equipped and the housekeeper, Julia, was wonderful. The host and concierge were very responsive to inquiries. All together a great place for a quiet family beach vacation.

Stayed Sep 11, 2025We had such a wonderful stay! The house was super clean, the staff was friendly, and the location made everything easy. Being right on the beach was amazing, the kids loved swimming and paddle boarding, and there were plenty of beach toys to use. Honestly, the place was even better than the pictures. We’re so grateful for the experience!
