Lava Flow House Pool Ocean View Kehena Beach w A/C

Very nice home. Yvette, our host was wonderful. Lots of stairs … if you have an issue with stairs, this house may not be for you. There are stairs everywhere; even in the shower. This house is a long way from Hilo. About an hour south.

I was so excited about this house when I booked it and it did not disappoint! The landscaping and pool were incredible and 4 bedrooms with big beds was perfect for us. We loved the pool, fruit trees and coquis at night. Only downsides would be, only 2 bathrooms. A third would’ve been nice, especially for the bedroom that was separated from the rest of the house and the location was a bit far from Hilo but both of those things were worth it for how amazing the house was.

Our stay at this property was amazing. Our only regret was not staying longer. The garden is beautiful, pool is perfect for both kids & adults.

This house surpassed all of our expectations. Yvette was awesome and had great tips for us. We picked two pineapples from the yard and they were so delicious! We visited Volcano National Park and missed the Kilauea eruption by hours though :(. Otherwise it was a most amazing trip. Be advised this property is very rural. There are no gas stations or grocery stores inside a 20 minute drive, and the road to get to the property is paved but very bumpy. Need to take it slow to avoid carsickness! Gorgeous property, we didn’t even want to leave for our planned expeditions!

a beautifully designed and elegant modern house that makes a great base of operations for exploring volcanoes park and soaking in the insane lava landscape of this part of hawaii. property manager Yvette was a pleasure to work with and extremely helpful and available whenever we needed anything (for instance, figuring how to turn off outside lights during a lunar eclipse!)

LavaHouse is an amazing, modern retreat with stunning architecture, a wonderful pool, and all the necessary amenities. The house is fully equipped, beautifully designed, and offers an unmatched stargazing experience at night. A truly unique and unforgettable place to stay! Highly recommend!

The house is architectural stunning. Clean lines, all the glass sliders. Just beautiful! The lava flow behind the house is mesmerizing, and the grounds are gorgeous, all the flowers, trees & fruit. Let's not forget the pool & covered patio, all so perfect. A lot of planning went into this property. It's beautiful, yet comfortable. And Yvette is a wonderful host.

The design and beauty of the house were amazing. It was very comfortable for our family of 5. I wish I would’ve planned a little more time to enjoy the house and grounds. Yvette was super helpful with restaurant recommendations and anything else we needed.
