Large villa close to stockholm city, nature and sea

The whole family enjoyed their stay at the house - a perfect base to explore Lidingö and the whole area.

Henrik and Nette have a lovely family home that provides a great base for exploring Lidingo, Stockholm and the wider archipelago. The house is lovely, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is set out over 3 floors and has several different spaces for relaxing in. There are facilities for washing and drying clothes as well as a sauna and a games room for the young (and young at heart). There is also a lovely garden with swings, footballs and football goals. In the local area (Lidingo) you will find bus stops within a few minutes walk, supermarkets within easy reach and many playparks and AstroTurf football pitches close by. Within 10 minutes walk there is a beautiful marina with a jetty area for jumping off/swimming. Henrik and Nette are lovely and we're very helpful and easy to communicate with. We can highly recommend a stay at their home and hope to come back again ourselves someday.

The house is in a great shape, provides lots of seating opportunities in all three floors, music in all rooms, perfect WLAN, nice kitchen - it includes everything you need. The sleeping rooms are a bit small, but there are enough of them with close-by bathrooms. The only thing we disliked was the traffic noise from the street next to the house, which made us having our meals inside and not on the balcony or in the garden. The surrounding area is extremly nice, you can go for nice walks, can get in 10 minutes by car to a very nice beach (in the direction to Elfvik). Supermarkets are on the south of the Lidingö island. A trip to Stockholm is easy to do (either by bus or by car to Ropsten and then with the city train), the Tyresta national park is 45 minutes by car, the Björnö park is about 1 hour by car. Both parks are extremly nice - do not miss to visit them.

We were there for 10 days with 2 parents and three kids. The house is very cutely designed in the interior and you feel like home immediately. There are plenty of rooms on 3 floors. Everything is in order and works. Highlight for the children was the garden and the nice and sun-flooded room next to the garden. Owned to being in Lidingö, the house feels like being in the countryside, although in fact it is easily accessible by bus and metro. If you want to stay within the city limits, it is feasible to come via plane to Stockholm and only use public transport. Nette and Henrik are very kind and we had a very nice vacation.

We rented this lovely property so a group of us could stay together for a family wedding. Nette and Henrik were wonderful hosts. The home is spacious and has everything you need. A grocery store is within walking distance and you are a 5 minute bus ride from the city center.

My family thoroughly enjoyed this residence. It was easy to get just about everywhere in under 30 minutes by car, and easy access to public transportation as well. Plenty of fun for the kids with age appropriate yard toys and for adults, table tennis.

We had a fantastic 10 days stay at Nette's family house. It is a large property with plenty of space for about 4-7ppl. The house is very well equipped. Great kitchen with many cooking gadgets, playroom with table tennis, play station, plenty of board games. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms plus a sitting area and large bathroom. The main floor has a bedroom, a large kitchen, living and dining room plus another bath. Downstairs is the playroom, bathroom/toilet, as well as the entrance to the beautiful large backyard. Nette is a great host. Communicating with him was effortless. He replied right away to all my questions. Location is as well very convenient. 3 mins walk from the bus stop, 8 mins walk to the nearest grocery store. There is a park nearby with a little playground. If you are traveling with kids, this house is perfect as there are so many toys, swings in the garden and soccer gates. It is also very child proof.
