Large, friendly and comfortable house with exceptional views and large pool

Fantastic house - even better in person than in the pictures. Everything about out stay here was wonderful - Laurence was very friendly and response and Xabi was incredibly helpful in making our stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Would definitely recommend.

We had an idyllic family reunion at Etxe Zuria in Urrugne. The house and cabana complex with fully equipped patio, pool, ping-pong and grill set up accommodated the needs of each age group in our family: my elderly dad, toddler, little kids, tween nieces/nephews, and adult siblings and in-laws. All rooms were comfortable, the kitchen was well supplied, and the family room was big enough and tech-friendly to entertain all eight kids. Some updates might include: screens for the windows since we got a lot of mosquito bites at night, kitchen towels, and a warning about the pool depth in the posting since it was too deep to stand in. Other than that: DREAMY.

We had an almost perfect time with our family at this well equipped and beautiful property. The downside was it was a very warm week and the lack of air conditioning made the upstair bedrooms and accessory rooms unbearable. We purchased 4 fans to use, which helped. The manager, Xabi, was super helpful and arranged a delicious dinner for us to enjoy at the property in the first night. The pool was a life saver which we all enjoyed.

Our family had a lovely time staying in the house. Everything are great. The host also very welcoming and tried her best to make our stay comfortable. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone!

Lovely home for an extended family holiday - thank you!

The property is beautiful and the house is very functional and well laid-out, not to mention very cool. The kitchen/dining/chilling area is spacious and comes with all the appliances you need, including two dish washers, which is a big thumbs up. The pool is heated and we enjoyed many afternoon and late evening swims. The house is located just a five-minute drive from Saint Jean de Luz and twenty minutes from La Rhune. It is an ideal base for exploring the region with easy access to the ocean, mountains, and the highway. There is a massive supermarket nearby as well. Communication with the owner and her assistant prior to and during our stay went smoothly. The owner is very well connected and helped us with restaurant suggestions and bookings. The assistant was very helpful. He also is an accomplished cook and prepared a delicious Basque meal for us the day we arrived.

We were really lucky to find this beautiful house with amazing views to Larrun to have our wedding celebration. The place is ideal to relax or in our case, to have a celebration with a few people. The owner was really helpful regarding all the small details and we are really thankful that she gave us the opportunity to have such a beautiful day in her place. We really recommend her place; it´s clean and it has everything you need to feel like at home. The location is just perfect because there are no neighbours too close, but you are still close to town.

We have enjoyed two weeks of lazy days by the pool. Despite some rainy days we had great fun in the perfectly heated pool which was equipped with lots of fun toys for the kids. The house is amazing with spacious rooms, several bathrooms and lots of useful equipment, as for instance two washing machines, a huge refrigerator and oven etc. Perfect for big families or groups. Just a short drive down the road we could get fresh bakeries for breakfast every day from the local bakery of Ciboure. Nearly all the houses in this nearby village look like fairytale houses. We also got delicious duck from the local butcher shop and take away pizza when we didn't bother to cook ourselves. The view of the mountain La Rhune is to be enjoyed from three of the bedrooms, as well as from the living room. It was lovely to wake up to this view accompanied by birds singing. We definitely recommend spending your holidays here. The only suggestion we have is to put a fan in every bedroom as it can get pretty hot inside on sunny days, and it will keep the mosquitoes away while sleeping. We spent a great week in this lovely and spacious house freshly renewed and very well equiped. Amazing sightseeing on the basque countryside and a direct view on La Rhune from all the house, and even the pool! Perfect location at only five minutes by car from Saint Jean de Luz and half an hour from San Sebastian, and the ocean never very far.

Lovely spacious house. I spent a week with my wife, two kids and a couple of friends with their children at olhette in the French pays basque. The house is in a quiet area overlooking the rhune (pays basque mountain) and is only a short drive to the beaches were we all enjoyed different watersports. Brill holiday will be back next year for sure
