Stayed Dec 31, 1969The apartments look much nicer on the inside than the outside! We stayed here for 5 weeks and were very well looked after by Salvatore, the owner, who kept bringing us delicious, freshly picked, home-grown vegetables and olive oil. His whole family was involved in looking after the apartments, the guests and the land. Lovely clean apartment, well equipped, a private balcony for sunbathing and a nice 15-minute walk downhill into the village, beach and fabulous fish restaurant Peppino Il Pescatore. Stunning sunsets and views of southern Calabria, Sicily and the islands. About an hour's walk to the beautiful beach of Grotticelle, or up the hill to San Nicolò where there is a bar with excellent pastries and good coffee. For further excursions a car is necessary, but we came mainly to rest so we only hired a car for a few days. The apartment could have done with mosquito nets on the windows and doors.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This year I went to Calabria with my girlfriend on vacations. It's a nice country, the coasts and the sea in beautiful, people are nice, the food is good and the inland is hilly and green. They have only one problem – garbage. Apartments are clean and comfortable. In the kitchen have more than enough of all equipment to cook. The owners are friendly and useful. Also the price is very good, is you compare value for money. There is only one thing, you need a car or you have to be used to walk.
