La Moreneta 1964 villa with large pool

This house is everything everyone says it is. I booked a year in advance to host a vacation during my 50th birthday week for friends. The bed flexibility is great, with five bedrooms and options for singles and doubles. We loved the breezy common areas with AC in the bedrooms. As one reviewer said, it does feel like being in a Slim Aarons picture. Two dishwashers came to good use. Laure the house manager is loved and appreciated by everyone who came as well as two friends who could not come due to illness and worked with her to deliver Champagne and rosé. There is a lovely beach and small market in walking distance (as a New Yorker, I walk a lot). That said, one amiga rented a car for which I am so grateful as it lent us flexibility to explore other parts of the island. Definitely take Laure up on her offer to stock the fridge with basics i.e., hamburger, eggs, manchego) as well as wine. I actually researched online specific wines which she ordered such that they were there upon arrival. Enjoy the island, but also do spend copious amounts of time at the house.

In short, host was communicative and pool is massive but property is not like what you see in the pictures shown, grass was all patchy and dirty, house constantly had issues which made me spend most of my time on vacation communicating with our host about all the issues that was going on such as property gate malfunctioning and not opening (resulting in us having to park our cars outside), electric bedroom door locks malfunctioning and not able to securely lock our room, no AC in the living room, loud construction was happening next door, pool had moss all around the edges, and among many other things. While communicating the issues with the host It sounded more like she was doing us a favor than her providing us a service that we had paid for. I hope they figure this out and do better in the future but definitely not worth the money.

La Moreneta was a great location for our family holiday. The villa pool is amazing, everyone loved the garden for playing games and the pool to cool down in. The villa is very well equipped with everything we could have needed for our 11 person group. Laure was super helpful and a great host

We loved staying at this beautiful villa. The check in was easy and the villa manager was so helpful and friendly. The pool is excellent and the kitchen is well equipped. Lots of the rooms have AC.

The villa layout worked well with the teens and adults and was well equipped and the pool and grounds were beautiful - we could walk to restaurants and bars and beach nearby ( about a mile ) and the property manager Laura was a great help - we really enjoyed our stay

Really appreciated the fact that the hosts allowed us to check in early on our check in day and check out late on our check out day. This may not always be possible if other people are staying the night before you check in or the day after you check out however we were extremely lucky in our case. Highly recommended this property for anyone visiting Ibiza in a reasonable sized group (8+). Swimming pool was fantastic and a lovely setting to look onto both during the day and even more so at night. Kitchen facilities were great including lots of crockery, glasses etc. Gas barbeque at the rear of the property was used daily!
