LA CASA DI MANUELA, Chianti Villa JACUZZI between Florence and San Gimignano

This was the perfect escape for four friends- our only downside (which we were aware of before our trip thanks to the very helpful owner) was how remote it was- but it couldn’t have been a better location to launch from for our olive oil, wine tasting, truffle hunting experiences!

The Villa was beautiful and exceeded all of our expectations. It was extremely clean and full of charm. I could tell every detail was well thought out. The views and garden were spectacular. Our host, Giarda was wonderful. He welcomed us months in advance and provided great recommendations. He always answered my commincations promptly. We arrived with a surprise gift of a bottle of wine and he dropped off delicious pastries from his family's favorite bakery the day before we left. I highly recommend this Villa and look forward to returning the next time we visit Tuscany!

The location worked quite well for us as we visited the area. We very much enjoyed the pasta cooking class which we did on the day we arrived. It was a fun experience and would recommend it for all ages plus the dinner was delicious. We visited in early September and it was still quite hot. As noted in the description, only one bedroom has AC and we recommend the hosts add AC to at least a second bedroom. The house stayed quite warm. The 2 fans helped, however with the recent rain there were plenty of mosquitos so it was difficult to leave the windows open. The house is well equipped with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. The sunsets were I credible.

We had an amazing week at this beautiful villa in Tuscany. Giana and Cristina were always available to answer our questions and were great hosts who provided us with lots of information on the local sites and restaurants. The villa was clean, spacious and well appointed with everything we needed. I highly recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to Italy.

We had 4 adults who stayed 4 days. First of all the communication prior and during our visit with Giada was top notch. She was very prompt and provided wonderful and helpful information prior and during our stay. The arrangements she made with private chef Mirco for private dinner and cooking class was most enjoyable and delicious. She also help arrange a truffle hunt and that too was excellent. In addition she provided other helpful suggestions on places to eat and visit. All this helped to make our stay most enjoyable. Regarding the villa it was everything we expected and more. The yard and garden areas were emasculate and very beautiful. We got great use out of the hot tub which proved to be very refreshing in the evening. The accommodations inside were clean and the pictures in VRBO were representative of how it appeared in person. Everyone in our group agree this exceeded our expectations. There are so many personal touches that made the villa feel like home yet the refurbished villa still had that Tuscany charm. Having the outdoor patio and country side view was priceless. In the end we spent very little time inside and really enjoyed outdoors. Only one of the bedrooms had AC which proved not to be a issue. With the windows open and the cool breeze at night things cooled nicely even when day time temps hit the mid 90's. We would rent from Giada should we ever return to Tuscany. Gratzee!!!

The villa was exactly what we were looking for. Cristina was always available to answer questions and offer suggestions for supermarkets, restaurants, etc. She was especially helpful when mid stay, the USA required a negative COVID test for re-enter, Cristina & Giada got our family tested at a local clinic! We all enjoyed the special Tuscany dinner prepared by chef Vilma. Thank you for a memorable family vacation!
