Stayed Feb 28, 2020Stunning property, with beautiful panorama over Carlingford Lough and a forested hill behind the house. The property is also furnished and finished to a very high standard, with plenty of heating and hot water to stay cozy even in cold conditions. We really appreciated the amenities in the kitchen also. Thanks to Dolores and John for their hospitality, hope to return soon

Stayed Nov 13, 2023The property is very clean and well suited for light cooking. The owner was very friendly and more than happy to recommend places to eat. We did not have any issues with our stay and the pony’s on site ran up to us for a bit of attention. I would recommend this property for a lovely stay

Stayed Oct 24, 2023We had a lovely stay for a week. The owners live on the property. They were very friendly and helpfull with everything. We could feed their pony's. The house was very clean and spacious for the two of us. You do need a car to get around but Belfast or Dublin are at about an hour drive. On wednesday, saturday and sunday you can enjoy Irish music in the Rostrevor Inn. We enjoyed this very much.

Stayed Oct 2, 2023Someone told me that this is the Rivera of Ireland, and I think that may be true. What I liked most (besides the wonderful landscaping John and Dolores are working on) was Kilbroney Park, with its' Narnia/CS Lewis (Chronicles of Narnia) themed hike, and the walk up to Cloughmore Stone. Also, the pastries in Warrenpoint were amazing.

Stayed Aug 27, 2023We loved our stay at La Belle Villa. The private villa is separate from the owner's home and is very spacious with a full-sized kitchen, family room, bathroom, and bedroom with two large beds. The views from the property are beautiful! We enjoyed hearing sheep in the distance and seeing the horses on property. The surrounding gardens are beautiful! This home is close to town for groceries, etc. and also close to Royal County Down for golf. Dolores and John are very friendly, gracious hosts. We greatly enjoyed our time and hope to return someday soon!

Stayed Jul 29, 2023The house was so much better than the photos shown on website! John was a lovely friendly guy. The place was spotlessly clean. We loved the decor in all the rooms. The beds were so comfortable and the shower was the best. There were lovely shampoo and body wash and even a box of tissues! The views were amazing. A lovely walk into Rostrevor where the Fiddlers Green Festival was happening ? The Rostrevor Inn is our favourite. At the house we seen the fox that comes everyday to be fed! We highly recommend!
