Stayed Apr 6, 2026Our recent family stay at The Far Field felt like our home away from home. It was PERFECT! Spotless, beautiful, equipped with everything we needed and then some. State of the art kitchen and bathrooms. Cosy and spacious at the same time. Our hosts were lovely, and gave us great comfort with a lovely welcome and an answer to every question I had. A stones throw from the park and magical Fairy Glen and a short stroll to the village. Highly recommend and we will 100% book here every time we return.

Stayed Aug 2, 2024The Far Field is the most beautiful vacation home we have ever rented. It is new, clean, beautifully decorated, and has everything a family could need. The location is great, within walking distance to the stores and cafes in town and Kilbroney Park. It is clear that that the owners take great care of this property to ensure that their guests have a wonderful stay. We highly recommend it.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We loved the fact that we felt so private and far away from everything - and yet we were centrally located near the village, the mountains and the sea. It felt like our own little peaceful sanctuary, and yet everything you needed was literally walking-distance away. We also loved the sumptuous soft furnishings which somehow combined luxury with comfort, making it feel like a (very classy) home from home.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Our second stay, we just love staying at The Far Field. The house has been beautifully designed and furnished. As a family of five we all felt it was spacious yet cosy too. In a perfect location to access Kilbroney Park and the stunning Carlingford area.
