    Beautiful home. Warm and cosy, ideal for relaxing after enjoying some of the local walks. Short walk into Rostrevor. Liz and henry were very attentive.

    The far field is fabulous! Having stayed a number of times, we think of it as our perfect oasis in Rostrevor with its quiet location and easy access to mountains, sea and family. Henry and Liz are very responsive and check in/out was completely smooth. We loved the warm welcome, basket of goodies and provisions and the wonderful Christmas tree. Far field is very special as it allows an incredible amount of light into the living space - it’s a true gem. We look forward to returning soon!

    The Far Field is the most beautiful vacation home we have ever rented. It is new, clean, beautifully decorated, and has everything a family could need. The location is great, within walking distance to the stores and cafes in town and Kilbroney Park. It is clear that that the owners take great care of this property to ensure that their guests have a wonderful stay. We highly recommend it.

    A home from home beside the sea. Step outside and you smell the fresh sea and mountain air, with Mournes to the left and Cooleys to the right. Village shops, bars and restaurants only a short walk away. What more could you ask for?

    We loved the fact that we felt so private and far away from everything - and yet we were centrally located near the village, the mountains and the sea. It felt like our own little peaceful sanctuary, and yet everything you needed was literally walking-distance away. We also loved the sumptuous soft furnishings which somehow combined luxury with comfort, making it feel like a (very classy) home from home.

    Our second stay, we just love staying at The Far Field. The house has been beautifully designed and furnished. As a family of five we all felt it was spacious yet cosy too. In a perfect location to access Kilbroney Park and the stunning Carlingford area.
