Stayed Jul 2, 2024Villa is exactly as listed. Perfectly clean, beautiful views, perfect sunsets, excellent location. Maggie was so easy and lovely to deal with and exceptionally helpful. Talke was wonderful, kept everything in order and it was always such a pleasure to see her around the property. It was a perfect villa for our cherished family vacation time. We really enjoyed the pool. Many board games were won and lost on the numerous outdoor seating areas. We love Naxos and when the opportunity arises, will love to stay in this villa again. Thank you for such heartfelt hospitality, and sharing your home with us.

Stayed Aug 7, 2023We enjoyed a fabulous two week stay in villa M. It was exactly as we expected from the photos. So many places to sit, relax and enjoy the seaview and amazing sunsets. The communications with the owner Maggie were excellent with a real personal touch. On our arrival we were greeted by the house manager Talke who was fabulous. She ensured we had all we needed and were comfortable throughout our stay, whilst also respecting our privacy. There was a goodie basket and supplies in the fridge which were very welcome after a long day of travelling. We would love to come back another year and would highly recommend staying here.

Stayed Jul 1, 2022We absolutely loved the villa! It was clean, stocked with food, coffee and wine when we arrived. Talke met us there and was wonderful. She really took care of us during our 10 day stay. I highly recommend staying at Kamari Villa!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Our family of five stayed at the villa for two weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it. The villa itself is lovingly appointed, inside and outside, like a real person's home, not a hotel or vacation home, which makes a big difference. Garden, pool and surroundings are immaculate and of course the views of Paros and the sunsets are grandiose! Really, truly, loved staying there and we'll definitely be back.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969After 14 years of visiting Naxos, 12 to Kamari Village we had decided this year would be our last. So we rented a house in Paros and came to Kamari at the end of our holiday for 6 nights. Driving up the hill to the type F villa is always a delight, the views are fantastic, walking through the door was even better. You cannot get a smarter, cleaner, well equipped villa anywhere like this! This villa has a superb view over to Paros and many other islands, the pool simply sparkles in he Greek sunshine, every room is bright and oh so clean! The equipment level is amazing, open a drawer and you will be sure to find whatever you need. Need grilled fish or chicken? Try the wonderful BBQ on your patio! When the sun goes down rest on your comfortable sun loungers to watch the stars...the roof is better... but be careful of the steps after a few vino’s! If you think of something you need, just ask Barbara, Tony, Vasso, Zahia or Kamal and you can be sure they will do their best for you. This is truly paradise on a wonderful island. The locations means you do need a car, make it a good one capable of the steep hill up to the house. A few shops and a bakery can be found close by and at the bottom of the hill you will find “To Kamari” a simple taverna run by Maria and Vassilios – good simple food and barrel wine. The journey into Naxos Town is quite easy but be prepared to reverse a few times and negotiate the odd tractor or cow in the road! Air from Athens is good but perhaps Blue Star Business Class is better... So yes we will go back and you will too if you visit Kamari.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969A perfect place to rest and enjoy the nature and the see. The villa is very comfortable and well equipped . The swimming pool is wide enough to swim and get some fun after a full day on the beach ... The sunset while you get your drink ( Ouzo ) is wonderful and never the same day after day. Zahia and Kamal are very nice people always ready to help or provide advices of new addresses for Tavernas . Really a nice and quiet place where we like to enjoy our summer holidays.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Service: We have got everything that we need.Everybody was extremely friendly and we have got perfect advice re. shopping and restaurants. Home: Very good design, nice garden, perfect private swimming pool, good comfort, excellent cleanliness. Location: Very quiet part of the island. Close to beaches, but for the really nice you have to drive approx. 3 km. Food: Good restaurant 2 km. Minimarkets in the area are poor. You really need to drive to Naxos town for better food. Best: small perfect resort, friendliness of Barbara Least: you really need a car for everything

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Unless you are a seasoned traveller to the smaller Greek Islands, arriving at Naxos either by Port or Airport will come as a little bit of a surprise! The Airport is very small, Ah and then the port... The rush to disembark, and locals and tourists alike embarking is just perfect mayhem, but the sight of Naxos town, the Portara, and the shimmering sea will have suddenly put Naxos in your heart... perhaps forever? Next you have to negotiate the roads of Naxos to find what is perhaps the best kept jewel on the Island – Kamari Village. The scenery is breathtaking out towards Mikri Vigla and Ornos. Soon you pass a few local restaurants ( try them all ) When you reach the Taverna “To Kamari” your drive is almost at an end – turn sharp left up the hill and be prepared to fall in love! I find it hard to say what my wife and I love most, the view, the welcome, the pool, the house... what words can describe the view; looking out over the blue blue sea to up to 7 islands, the closest Paros over which you will experience sunsets like no other (well certainly after a glass of wine!) The accommodation is very private and what’s more you can be as private as you want or as gregarious as you want – Kamari Village has it all. If you have a house with a private pool it will be spotless and kept that way throughout your stay. Everything is spotless at Kamari Village; why? Look no further than Zahia & Kamal who will greet you as friends if you are a first time visitor or if like us after many many visits, they care about this place, they love it, and nurture it with Vasso and many others it is their home and it shows. Our House has a washing machine, coffee maker, iron, hair dryer, in fact virtually all you need, plus lots of useful pots, plates, bowls – its home from home. You will find all you need here and if you don’t – just ask, nothing is too much trouble for Zahai & Kamal. Beaches nearby are superb, some are clothes optional so be prepared; enjoy your own spot your way. Lastly as night falls, step out and climb the stairs to the roof of your house or lay back on a sun lounger and marvel at the stars in the velvet blue night sky.... Paradise. Oh and now its time to fall in love... you will you know! And how will you know? As you drive away at the end of your stay there will be tears – just like parting from a loved one. Try it – you'll love it.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We were first attracted to Kamari village many years ago by it's magnificiant situation with panoramic views of Naxos and the neighbouring islands of Paros, Ios etc along with the comfortable villas each set in it's own private grounds with all the amenities necessary to make ones stay an enjoyable experience and so it has been over the past three decades. The owners who are a mine of information on Naxos brought about a revolution in the Greek Villa market some 20 odd years ago which has been copied by many on various islands elswhere. Zahia and Kamal have maintained their standards and upgraded the facilities ever since, they are ever present but never intrusive and with friendly helpful staff to assist, the villas, accommodation, gardens and pools are maintained to the highest standards with clockwork efficiency. For those discerning visitors who seek a relaxed private holiday with the sea, swimming and beaches within walking distance and sporting facilities within a fifteen minute drive, seclusion but not isolation and accessability to the island of Naxos with it's many attractions we can recommend no finer place and one you will wish to return to as we have over many years. If it's a sporting challenge you require we would suggest a walk along the beach to Naxos town or a climb to the peak of mount Zeus or many other walks in the Naxos countryside. We now prefer a leisurely nap beside the pool, a seat in the shade with a good book and like Dionysus the occassional dream of Ariadne and others.
