Stayed Jun 29, 2023We felt very welcome at Kamari Villa. There were a lot of refreshments and breakfast stuff which we really appreciated. The villa was very clean and the swimming pool/hot tub was well maintained. The view from the terrace is amazing, especially during the sunset. Our host was very helpful and quickly responded to all our needs. The villa is located within walking distance of the beach, a few tavernas, and a local supermarket. The only issue that we had but it has nothing to do with the villa itself, it's there were many mosquitoes in the area so make sure to bring mosquito repellent with you. Apart from that, we loved our time spent at Kamari Villa in Naxos. Thank you!

Stayed Jun 29, 2018We loved this place from the moment we drove in. We were about 3 hours late arriving and were still met with a smiling face and a refreshments - both badly needed after a long trip. Helpful and friendly owners and staff were available if needed, but never imposing. The views are amazing from the pool deck and the location is perfect. Excellent dining option within minutes included some of the best seafood we've ever had. I hate to give such a good review as this may cause us to not be able to get in the next time to do overbooking! We can't wait to return.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This modern 1 bedroom villa comes with its own private Jacuzzi, boasts marvellous outdoor seating and dining areas which overlook the Aegean Sea towards the neighbouring island of Paros. The villa has a fully fitted kitchen with large fridge/freezer , oven and washing machine, plus the added luxury of air conditioning. It has a shower room and large lounge to use for when it gets too hot outdoors! The villa also has access to Wi-Fi, although we have never use this as we do like to switch off from the world and enjoy the idyllic views that are on show. We have stayed at this villa 5 times (most recently 2014) and have never been disappointed with the tranquil and calm atmosphere of the whole complex. The layout of all the villas allows complete privacy and if ever you need help or advise Barbara and her team are always on hand but never intrusive. The gardens are laid out in a typical Greek style with colourful flowers and terracotta pots filled with geraniums and bougainvillea. Car hire is a must, but the reasonable cost of car rental on Naxos is easily outweighed by the advantage of staying in one of the most beautiful and unspoilt parts of Greece that even the locals agree is quite simply ‘paradise’. Local taverns provide the evening entertainment with a wide choice of locally produced dishes with home grown ingredients and vegetables. It would be impossible to recommend any particular establishment but one of our favourites is Glyfada Restaurant, right on the beach, with Maria the owner, never failing to welcome us with her un-paralleled traditional Greek hospitality and warm welcome. For easy living, at the bottom of the hill to Kamari Village is Campos Market which provides every necessity for your stay. The ‘cherry on the cake’ is the close proximity to Alyko Beach, which is just stunning and worth the trek across the dunes and down the cliff face to spend an amazing afternoon relaxing. Although an amazing place, if you have children or a mobility issue, we’d recommend you to use Glyfada or Kastraki Beaches. All in all, Kamari Village ticks so many boxes that it’s impossible to rival for the setting, privacy and genuine welcome that Zahia, Barbara and all provide. Jeff & Peter
