Stayed Aug 18, 2024Great communication with Eliano before we arrived. A lovely welcome with some fantastic local food treats and a detailed tour around the well equipped villa. The house and pool is well laid out with plenty of shade and fantastic views. The countryside is beautiful with a multitude of hilltop towns and wooded peaks. Overall great hosts and a very relaxing holiday.

Stayed Aug 4, 2024A lovely house with a beautiful garden and a great atmosphere. Add to this a very attentive and helpful owner and Rome easily accessible. All in all, we really enjoyed our holiday in this lovely house. With airconditioning in the bedrooms, the stay would have been perfect ;-)

Stayed Jul 21, 2024Great villa with an astonishing view, couldn't have hoped for a more idyllic location. As we were new to the region we didn't quite know what to expect but we were blown away. Will definitely be back, when it's maybe cooler as we arrived in the middle of a heatwave, thank goodness for that lovely pool. Eliano was the perfect host...we were the first renters since the pandemic so there were a few teething problems, but Eliano was on it immediately and nothing was too much trouble. He also had a lot of good suggestions for restaurants and sight seeing etc which was most helpful.

Stayed Aug 19, 2017We loved every minute of our stay at the heavenly Casale di Max. The pool, jacuzzi, environment and rooms are all of a very high standard and the hosts Ornella & Elio were very helpful and kind.

Stayed Jul 15, 2017Four of us spent a week in Il Casale di Max. The owners welcomed us, and showed us around the house: a nice stone villa. A good kitchen and a large living room (wich we never used) on the ground floor. On the second floor there is two bedrooms with bathrooms (let's be honest, the showers aren't great, but who cares?). Then the more imporant: the outside: a football court, vegetable garden, swimming pool og barbeque. We spent all days outside. Eating under the vines, athing all day, barbequing at night. This is really what life should be! Only an hour to Rome if you'ld like lunch there some time. We also visited Civita di Bagnoregio an hour and a half away. Buy you groceries at the local Conad, just a short drive from the villa. We can strongly recommend Il Casale di Max, and hope many more will have a great time there!

Stayed Jan 20, 2017It is not easy to find the words to describe this unforgettable experience which left me only with wonderful memories. A very beautiful country, a warm and historic villa, an amazing view, a wild nature in a lovely and comfortable place where to relax and to recharge batteries for the new year. What else could you ask for your holiday? Definitely a place not to miss!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a fantastic holiday in this wonderful house in the beautiful Sabine hills. The house, the grounds and the location were perfect, and the pool and the views across the hills are stunning. Ornella was a great host and very helpful in providing us with delicious home-grown produce, and advice and directions for our trips to Rome. We all hope to return one day.
