We had the most wonderful stay with Daniel & Franzy. They are wonderful, considerate hosts, sharing great advice on things to do around the island. The location is nice and quiet, not too far from shops. There´s not a beach at a walking distance, but since we had a rental car it was not a issue in the first place. I would recommend a car for the duration of your stay anyway. Montebello distillery is just down the hill, maybe 2-3 km from the rental. The pool is wonderful and the garden is well maintained and diverse in plants. We we´re traveling with two kids, 7 & 11, and the rental suited us perfectly. If we´re ever lucky enough to back to Guadeloupe, I would gladly stay here again. Thank you again!

The gite was clean and was exactly like the photos. The owners lived in the property adjacent to the garden. They were very helpful, met us at the car hire office to show us the way to the gite and immediately replaced the DVD Player when it failed to work. The garden surrounding the property was magnificent. The gite is well placed to discover both Grand Terre and Basse Terre. The placement on the map is not quite accurate, it is situated alongside the road( busy only morning and evening) and further down the hill than shown. We found the temperature always agreeable due to the breeze and saw only a couple of mosquitoes during our 3 week stay. The wifi was only available in the garden and it was not a strong signal but usually good enough to pick up emails. Thank you Daniel and Frantzy for an excellent holday.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans cette belle maison. L'endroit, Petit-Bourg, est idéalement situé pour visiter toute l'île, que ce soit Basse-Terre ou Grande-Terre. La maison est équipée de tout le nécessaire, les moustiquaires et la climatisation dans les chambres sont très appréciables. La piscine a été très appréciée, par les enfants et les parents ! Que cela fait du bien après une bonne journée de visite de se détendre dans la belle piscine toujours très propre. Le jardin est magnifique, les arbres y sont très nombreux et merveilleux et les orchidées sont magnifiques ! Nous gardons le meilleur pour la fin : un grand merci à Daniel, pour son accueil, sa grande gentillesse, sa culture impressionnante et sa disponibilité. Toujours très discret mais aussi toujours disponible pour nous conseiller. Si nous avons passé un si bon séjour c'est aussi grâce à vous. Daniel, vous êtes un hôte formidable ! Nous n'avons pas eu la chance de voir Frantzy mais nous espérons la connaître lors de notre prochain séjour car c'est sûr nous reviendrons ! (Merci Daniel pour la PS3 !! les petits chiens ont laissé un grand souvenir aux enfants et Gabriel a été impressionné par les belles voitures et Daniel qui répare ;-) )

Beautiful place, perfectly equiped house, nice swimming pool. The garden is like a tropical paradise. The owner was very helpfull. We will defenetly come again.
