House / Villa - Lecco

Everything was great. Elena, the owner of the house, is a very pleasant and attentive woman. The house is in an excellent location, with easy access to all iconic places, including Milan. Thank you, I recommend it.

Great spot for touring the lake country. Pristine is the best word for the property and Helena was the perfect host. (A car is a must.)

This charming and comfortable home was perfect for our visit to Lecco. The views from the house and yard were spectacular, and the charcoal grill permitted us to have a cookout one night. Well equipped kitchen, great toys for the children, very clean throughout the whole home, and very gracious host. The fresh bread and cookies and beautiful sweet nectarines left to welcome us were an extra special welcome. Would joyfully return!

Villa Helena is a magical place. It sits high atop a hill with a commanding view of the town below, lake and mountains. (Be prepared for a windy drive up and many steps.) The house is roomy and comfortable, immaculately clean with beautiful grounds and patio. We were greeted with bread, wine, salami and grapes, and treated to warm hospitality. We were even given a lift into town to take care of some errands. A lovely vantage point to explore Lake Como- we hope to return soon.

We very much liked the property and accommodations. Helena was there to greet us with goodies. The views from the yard were spectacular. We would encourage anyone with interest to stay at Helena’s.

A warm welcome from Elena was a good start to our week. Used as a base for cycling on the shore of and in the mountains around Lake Como, and worked very well. Would recommend.

Villa Helena is a spacious, well equipped and beautifully furnished villa in a stunning location with marvellous views of Lecco and Lake Como. The Villa has its own garden with outdoor dining facilities and wifi is excellent. The Villa is as good, if not better, than the photos suggest. Although approximately 5 kms from Lecco centre a car is not essential as a reliable bus service is available with a bus stop nearby. Owner, Elena, and the gardener, Gigi, live on site. They are not intrusive but they are extremely welcoming and both go out of their way to assist when required. Highly recommended.

We spent eight days in this beautiful villa. Everything was perfect: A wonderful, very clean house with plenty of space (even with an old piano in one of the rooms), a beautiful garden and a marvelous view. The communication was very good. Moreover, we found delicious food as a welcome present. Thank you very much, Elena.

This was our home base for a week in the Lake Como region and it was wonderful! The house is spacious, immaculately clean, stocked with everything needed, and the view… my goodness! Just stunning. We enjoyed delicious meats, cheese, olives, artichokes and bread on the patio, overlooking the beautiful city of Lecco and Lake Como! Elena is a wonderful host and responded to each of our messages before our arrival in a very timely manner. She left for us fresh bread, fruit, salami and a bottle of wine. So kind and very generous! The train station is a short drive down the hill and perfect for a day trip to Milan. The villa is as shown in the pictures… and we loved that the property is gated. Felt very safe and happy in our little piece of Italian Heaven! I hope to return some day!
