good contact with caring owner. Clear directions to the very remote house. Clear instructions to enter the house and what to do in case of problems. Little information about sorting waste. Beautiful deep pool but an unfavorable location relative to the house. Also not clear where the garden/terraces stop. entering someone else's property without really noticing. Since the house is very remote, the driving times to shops, bakery, beaches are very long. not recommended for small children. General assessment: very good.

Peace, quiet, amazing view of the sea. Great house well equipped. Gorgeous sun terrace to watch the sun rise over the sea. We will definitely be back. Cotton bed linen would have given an extra star ? The surrounding area and beaches are wonderful but you definitely need a car!

Away from it all. BUT you can drive to extraordinary places within half an hoir to an hour. Using “our place” as a hub worked great for us.

A very nice villa with a spectacular view. Peace and quiet in the mountains. A nice big pool.

We would like to thank Arielle once again for a wonderful holiday at Villa Anatoli. The house was simply great, nothing was missing. Thanks also for the little welcome in the kitchen. The contact with the owner Arielle was without complications, she answered all our questions immediately and with her help and support she made sure that we had a great time during our stay. The villa is very lovingly furnished and equipped with everything you need in a home. Especially the kitchen is very well equipped. The location of the house on the coast is simply fantastic - away from all the tourist hustle and bustle. The stillness there is heavenly, you can simply listen to nature and relax. Some guests have already written it in their evaluation, you hear barely nothing but the sound of the sea, the chirping of crickets, the singing of birds and now and then a goat bell. :-) The pool behind the villa offers a great opportunity to cool off if you don't feel like going on a trip or to a beach. By the way, the terrace and the garden with the beautiful plants and the great olive trees invite you to sit until late into the night. The best thing was definitely waking up in the morning, walking impatiently onto the terrace and enjoying the breathtakingly beautiful view of the sea. Here, too, the villa is equipped with everything you need: Table and chairs to have breakfast outside, chairs to relax and sun beds for the pool. The only negative: The time was over way too fast and we had to go back home. ;-) We will definitely recommend Villa Anatoli and its owner Arielle. We simply felt very comfortable and would like to come back! All the best and best wishes, Timo

I could not wait in the morning to get outside with a coffee to sit and listen to nothing, except the goats bells, view is spectacular and villa is beautiful and extremely well equipped. Car is necessary. The only negatives (not for me but other quests) no WiFi ( I can live without it) and that we had to go home.

Villa Anatoli is in a lovely, quiet location in an unspoilt part of Crete, yet only 40 minutes from bustling Chania. The views from the villa are stunning over the olive trees towards the sea. The moonlight on the water was amazing and all we could hear at night were the goat bells and the sound of waves. The nearest cove had beautiful clear water and in October, although the weather was lovely and warm, was virtually empty. Nearby we found good restaurants and other nice beaches. The kitchen and living areas were very spacious and it was ideal for the two of us; the second bedroom was rather small. For us, the lack of an internet connection was a problem as it meant we had to spend time searching for internet cafes. However, having a washing machine was helpful. We would recommend this villa to anyone who wants a quiet, simple getaway-from-it-all holiday but would strongly advise having a GPS for getting around as finding your way can be challenging.

This stone house gave us the comforts of a home. We lazed on the pool and the beach, the latter just a few meters away. Spent most of our mornings on the balcony with a stunning view of the island. The house was of a relative size and had everything we needed. The owner was most welcoming and kind.

We (4 adults, 1 baby) passed a very good time at Villa Anatoli. The contact with Arielle (the landlady) was very personable, she answered all our questions and assisted us very well in the preparation of our stay. The location was exactly as described -- a nice and calm place with a splendid sea view. The only sound was the comforting and smooth baa of some sheeps in the surrounding area, which made the place even more authentic. The house was equipped with everything one might need during a stay there and there are small/medium super markets and tavernas in the surrounding villages, only very few kilometers away from the house. We especially recommend the taverna Parasia Rakadiko in Vamos for dinner in the evening -- excellent & varied food at reasonable prices, nice place & nice owners. In Kefalas (nearer still than Vamos) there is a good taverna (Meterizi) between two small super markets (one bio market, one normal market) -- all three within 100 meters. But also eating at home should be always considered as everything necessary for cooking is in the house. The swimming pool directly beside the house offers a refreshing alternative to longer stays at the various beaches starting a few kilometers away from the premise. If during breakfeast on the house's terrace you encounter wasps, put some sweets or so at the corners of the terrace to keep the wasps away from the terrace's table. The smell of coffee should also keep them at bay. All told, we passed a very nice holiday at villa Anatoli and will surely come back again at the next opportunity.

The villa Anatoli is a wonderful place to stay. It is so quiet with beautiful views over the Aegean. The villa is a short drive to many provincial towns. the people are so nice. Arielle was very easy to work with prior to our visit. I would stay at this villa again!
