Historic Carriage House at the Church Point Manor

This place is very cool and the photos definitely are accurate to the property listing. Very beautiful location. Unfortunately we had to leave our stay after less than one day due to an environmental issue at the home. I hope that the owners will have this fully taken care of so other guests do not deal with it. I was also a bit disappointed on the amount of time it took them to respond to the issue initially. Once contact was made, they did what they could to make us comfortable and rectify the situation to the best of their ability which was much appreciated. They were very apologetic and gave us a full refund so we could pay to stay elsewhere which was very kind of them. If we had not had this issue, I would absolutely give this place 100%.

Beautiful and peaceful location in Virginia Beach. Near great restaurants and coffee. Hosts are wonderful. Love the historic feel and the walking trail. Cottage is beautifully decorated and very comfy. Highly recommend a stay here and we plan on coming back next year.

One of the most beautiful and comfortable VRBO properties we have stayed at. Tyler and Kate could not have been more responsive and also incredibly nice to us! The planned in advance reservation turned into an unexpected close family member passing away in Chesapeake just 2 days prior, so we appreciated how everything went smoothly and no added stress for us and could return to the property after some rough days. Definitely will try to book for future visits to the area.

We had a fantastic time and, after living out of hotels for over a week, it was especially nice to stay at this beautiful and well maintained property. The neighborhood was beautiful, the home was perfectly stocked, and the bedrooms were all clean, individually decorated, and as neat as they could be.Communication with the host was flawless.There were only two of us but the home could accommodate 6 easily.Hopefully we'll be back!!

After staying here, you will definitely want to return! This beautifully located and maintained property went above and beyond expectations! More than accommodating and so peaceful! A huge perk was that each bedroom had a full bathroom. Absolutely no negatives just a 100% positive experience!

We enjoyed a lovely stay at the carriage house. The accommodations were well appointed and very comfortable and the grounds were beautifully groomed. Tyler was attentive to our needs. We would most definitely book again when we are in the area.

We came to enter a floral arrangement in a flower show given by the Virginia Beach Garden Club. We needed space to do the arrangement, space to relax and space to sleep. The property is really adorable, clean and well-appointed and the location is upscale and safe. Restaurants and shops are within close distance and the neighborhood is good also good for walking. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Beautiful house and property. My family and I loved the spot for a recent sports tournament my son had. Just as listed and hosts are responsive and available if needed. We would stay again if ever in the area!

The absolutely perfect place for our sister’s get away. We have been meeting for special occasions for many years and this is one of the loveliest by far. Great for walking, we all loved the hiking trail,close to restaurants and the beach.Go to Mike Hill’s Love Song for a wonderful dinner.

Such a wonderful property. As beautiful as the photos and the trail and dock were my favorite part - luckily we had some nice weather while we were there! Tyler and Kate were so helpful and accommodating. We will absolutely stay here again when we’re in town visiting family.

We absolutely loved our visit to this old world retreat. Such a cute little cottage that was incredibly clean and well maintained. Tyler and Kate were extremely responsive and great hosts. Would stay here again for sure!

My husband, his parents and our 2 year old stayed at the Carriage House again for the second time and as usual, it was a wonderful stay! Everything is in great condition, love having separate AC in each room so everyone could be in a temp they prefer, and beautiful grounds to walk. We love staying here and plan to continue to any time we visit the area. Tyler and Kate are wonderful hosts!

Fantastic carriage house that accommodated 3 tennis players in town for a tournament. The location is excellent and the grounds are beautiful. Close to parks and amazing restaurants. Highly recommended!
