Great pool home in prime location (Golden Beach) on Venice Island ,walk to beach

We had a great experience at this lovely property in Venice, FL. The house was clean and well equipped with lots of indoor and outdoor spaces to relax in.Location was perfect for walking to beach, restaurants, Farmers Market, and more.Owner was extremely responsive and helpful. During our stay he checked in to make sure everything was going well.

Great location, nice private beach, liked use of bicycle's, beach chairs/umbrellas, close to downtown. We stayed the month of February 2024. The house is warn our, many things need attention. It could be way cleaner, lots of cobwebs, dead bugs hanging in them, most outdoor furniture is very worn/torn, pool was serviced each week but had lots of green algae on bottom so we did not use, the worst was the amount of ants in the house in most of the rooms, the kitchen was inundated with them everywhere, in all the cabinets, drawers, climbing in sink & countertop. We could not prep or enjoy any meals here because of this and ate all our meals out (did not anticipate having that extra cost). The first day we arrived we bought ant sprays etc, We had a cleaner come in after a couple of weeks to see if it would help but it did not. Security of a few doors was lacking not closing properly to lock. For paying a prime rate we just wish we didn't have to deal with all that while on holiday, it made the months stay a little uncomfortable.

This is a beautiful home in a great location. 10 minute walk to a nice, private neighborhood beach. Comfortable beds. All the appliances you could need. Pool is heated and clean. Owners are very responsive. We hope to come back!

Great location, Golden Beach is very nice. Had several issues that were resolved while we were there.

This was our second one month stay at this home. We love the location on Venice Island. Close to the beach, yoga, shopping, dining and the library. The home is nicely laid out for 2 couples with lots of privacy. Actually could accommodate many more. The home is well furnished with comfortable beds and plenty of fresh linens and towels. Lots of beach accessories as well as bikes. It is perfectly clean and fresh. The street is quiet. Very pretty and safe neighborhood. We were there in January so a bit cool to swim in the pool but I like just looking at it. We hope to return next January once again with our adult children.

Wonderful time in Venice. House is beautiful with many amenities. Great location.

My family had a wonderful stay here and will definitely return again - we liked the house and neighborhood that much! We traveled with our 3 month old baby and the house was great & very family friendly - included a crib, stroller, beach supplies (beach cart, chairs, toys, etc). We ate most meals at the house and it had everything we needed for cooking. The Nespresso machine was a great bonus, and like another reviewer, we enjoyed our morning coffee in the lovely courtyard. The house layout was great, as it had two sides of the house with two master suites off of the living room, and also had an office space. We stayed with our baby on one side of the house while grandparents had the other side with the second master suite. The house’s location is excellent, and we enjoyed daily stroller walks to the beautiful private beach. We couldn’t of been happier with our stay here, this place is a gem!

-The pluses are location, community, town, private beach & warm welcoming community, great private heated pool -Area is accessible to shopping, restaurants, theaters. -Kitchen was well stocked, wonderful beds, linens & many beach & bath towels. Older home in need of some updates and upgrades, would definitely stay again.

We felt at home immediately. This home was great for two couples as the bedrooms were opposite sides of the living area. The beds are super comfy and the the bedrooms dark. The screened patio and pool are lovely . The doors open widely onto each giving an airy feel. The kitchen is nicely appointed. We ate all meals but one at home. Internet was very fast. Barely watched TV. The beach is a short walk. Beach towels and chairs are available. We loved our vacation-Just hanging out in warmer weather.

This is a lovely home on Venice Island. Check in through Check out was simple. The owners of this home have made the home comfortable and have gone above and beyond with cleanliness. Even provided additional sanitation products. While one knows this is at a vacation home, the overall feeling was one of being at home. It is obvious the owners put care and thought into this home. Having been at the house during Hurricane Elsa I can attest we felt safe the entire storm. Looking forward to another visit.
