Stayed Jul 7, 2025We spent a wonderful week at Casa do Alto together with two other families—three families in total—and the stay exceeded our expectations. The villa is spacious and welcoming, with a lovely outdoor area that was perfect for long meals and relaxing in the shade. The large swimming pool was a favorite spot for both adults and children.One of the highlights was how the house provides plenty of space without feeling overwhelming. It’s well suited for social gatherings while also making it easy to retreat for peace and quiet.The only downside was that the single beds had very firm mattresses, which made the nights less comfortable. We recommend adding mattress toppers to improve comfort.Interestingly, the villa looks even better in real life than it does in the pictures—which suggests a presentation video could be helpful for future guests.All in all: a fantastic week in a villa that delivers on atmosphere, amenities, and overall experience. With a few small tweaks, it could be perfect.

Stayed Jul 21, 2024We loved our 2 weeks stay! The villa was beautiful with lots of space for 12 people. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything in it that you would need to cater at home. The bedrooms are spacious, beds are comfortable and each room had air con. The pool is a great size and the seating areas around it were lovely, providing lots of spaces to relax and unwind and enjoy the beautiful sea views from pool side. Communication with the owner was excellent and lots of information about the villa and area was provided before we arrived. Property was well serviced throughout our stay by the gardener, pool cleaner and cleaned twice a week. Overall we would recommend this villa and would certainly go back.
