The host Miguel was extremely kind, professional, helpful and responsive to our group of 6 adults. We stayed at this dream property for 13 nights and would have stayed longer because it had everything we wanted, and was located in a perfect spot for visiting historical sites, and for shopping for our meal items as well as for handcrafts. Amenities were comprehensive; secure parking for our two vehicles was just outside the door; townspeople were friendly; outside sounds were limited to sheep, mules, migrating birds, mourning doves, and the occasional dog. We visited many locations during the day or stayed at the property to take advantage of the outdoor pool, reading and eating areas, and in the evenings had pool tournaments and chess competitions, or played board games (which we had brought with us). We went out for dinner on only two occasions to good restaurants within 20 minutes drive. Our only complaints were that the mattresses were a little thin, lighting could be improved (especially over the food preparation area) and the breakers had to be reset regularly in the evenings because they overloaded. So the electrical system should perhaps be upgraded. We were extremely happy with all aspects of our family vacation in rural Portugal and highly recommend this property. Thank you Miguel!!!

Incredible backyard, full outside kitchen, big pool, lot of room inside the house. We had much fun staying there the 7 of us. Excellent communication with Miguel (property manager). We would definitely come back for an even long stay!
