Stayed Feb 23, 2024For us, ideally located for a variety of events during a destination wedding in and around Zihua. The views are spectacular of a private cove. There is transportation provided to a small public beach. The rooms and beds are comfortable. Kitchen is spacious but we didn’t cook much on this trip so can’t speak to functionality. The AC splits worked great. The pocketing glass doors require a bit of effort but opens up the space. Love the pool and lounge area. The couch is a tad uncomfortable but we mostly gathered around the large dining table. There is currently some construction nearby so there might be noise and workers who can view the property during those hours. Gated community felt very safe and secure. We noticed security posted throughout property most every time we ventured out. My only suggestion would be too install a key code mechanism for access. Our group had varying itineraries and a single key proved problematic requiring assistance. Eric was a responsive property manager who took care of a hot water issue as well as arranging taxis for us. Jesus was caring and responsive host before and during. For anyone who is more inclined to set their own agenda and pace I would recommend this property. If you are looking for hotel equivalent amenities, foodservice or walking to shops it may not be best for that.
