Exclusive Beachfront Home in Sayulita

The home was gorgeous and exactly as advertised. Our contact Theo was kind and responsive. The grounds were immaculate, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, the pool was always clean and a comfortable temp. It was truly a perfect getaway for our eight longtime girlfriends, largely because of the wonderful accomodations.

Fantastic location, one of the best villas on the beach. Great bedroom layout, 5 real bedrooms with king beds and privacy for my family of 10.Would go back, no hesitation.

Fantastic property, close to town, beautiful beach view and access from the house. The host was very accommodating for our group with kids and babies. Theo, the house manager was on top of it, made sure we were all comfortable. Food and chef was delicious. The property and grounds were well maintained. We enjoyed our stay and will be back! My family of 13 stayed at Casa Illusion for a week and we all loved it. From the moment we arrived, it was more than we expected. Theo met us and took us on a tour, from the main rooms, to the bedrooms, to the beach. My 3 young grandkids immediately got in the pool. We arrived at nite so we were amazed that it was even more beautiful in the morning. The beach is a short walk through the yard and was pretty private the beginning of our stay. Had a few more people throughout the holiday weekend and even had two proposals taking place. We spent hours at the beach, watching the most beautiful sunsets every evening. We walked to town every day, an easy distance, although we did rent a golf cart that everyone enjoyed. There is a coffee shop right out the front door and a wonderful restaurant nearby. I think I speak for our entire group, ages 4 to 76 when I say We can’t wait to return. Nancy, the housekeeper, kept everything clean, which was no small feat. She also took our wonderful family photos.Theo was always available to help, especially when we extended our stay a day due to a changed flight. The owner was prompt and helpful when we changed the dates of our stay a few times. Two things we would mention. The lighting along the walkway to the casita and the beach could use a bit more lighting and both my sons love to cook, so an outdoor kitchen would be a wonderful addition.Overall I would give 6 stars if I could. This was my second time staying at Casa illusion and I cannot say enough about this property. I am a high-end realtor in Santa Barbara, California, and expect a lot of a vacation rental property. This property is beautifully maintained with exceptional gardens and a fabulous location on the beach. I visited several years ago with a bunch of girlfriends and this time with my family of five (3 children) and another couple and their daughter. It is a beautiful clean home with updated decor and has the most beautiful yard. We will definitely return! Theo the property manager is excellent.

I stayed at Casa Ilusión with six amazing women to celebrate my 50th birthday, and I can honestly say it was the trip of a lifetime. Victoria and Richard are the most incredible hosts—so thoughtful, generous, and welcoming. Their home is beyond words: a true sanctuary that instantly made us feel at peace. We never wanted to leave and are already dreaming about coming back.Waking up to the sound of the ocean each morning felt like a dream come true. The house is tucked back from the beach on a beautifully landscaped property that feels like a private paradise—serene, lush, and full of charm. And yet, it’s only a short, flat 8–10 minute walk into town, which made it easy to explore Sayulita when we wanted to.Right next door is the best spot in town for a sunset margarita, and the owners, Odet and Erick, would even take our orders over the property wall. It felt like a dream—pure magic.Theo, the house manager, went above and beyond to make our stay seamless and special. From arranging airport transportation to organizing a catered welcome dinner, morning yoga, and a delicious brunch, he thought of everything. He even surprised me with a bottle of champagne and a birthday card—such a thoughtful touch.Casa Ilusión is a place I’ll never forget, and I’m so grateful for the memories made there. I can’t recommend it enough.

Would highly recommend staying at this absolutely stunning house! It is such a great location, right across from great cafes and restaurants and on the north side which is more quiet and secluded but still so close to town. The owners helped us when villa oso cancelled on us last minute and were extremely helpful and generous! They saved the day for our wedding and our friends loved staying here. We would love to come back!

This place is simply stunning. The owners were easy to deal with. Theo the property manager was fantastic and super helpful and the location is away from the buzz of town but close enough for a short walk:This was by far our favorite ever villa stay and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a great spot in Sayulita.Thank you!!!!

A much needed family vacation from ages 1 to 62. Casa Ilusion was everything we hoped it would be. Plenty of room for everybody. Can’t explain how amazing it is falling asleep and wake up to the sound of the waves crashing into the beach. So close to downtown. We rented golf carts but we found ourselves walking to town just as much. This house had everything we needed and the Property Manager Theo was quick to respond to our questions. Fidalina kept the house spotless and the grounds and the pool looked pristine everyday. Highly recommend for a large family or a large group of friends. Loves loved loved

Casa Illusion is perfecto! Theo and the local team of daily gardener and housekeeper were so accommodating and kind. Casita is marvelous and was used often for massage. Location/gated seclusion and quiet street made it a lovely experience for our family. Had a terrific photo shot by an amazing local/international photographer. We loved every day here. Cheers!

I can’t rave enough about Casa Illusion! The house is beautiful with the most stunning ocean views. We could hear the waves every night as we fell asleep. The setup of the house is perfect for multiple families and/or friends. We have young littles (4,2,1) and the main floor room/family suite was so great for us. My kids loved being able to wake up and jump in the pool or walk right out to the beach. The location is fantastic! You are close enough to town to walk but also not right in the middle of everything which is great because it’s quieter/not as busy. The house is stocked with everything you can think of—all kitchen items, sand toys, beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, and so much more. There wasn’t anything I felt we needed while we stayed there. Fidelina and Ybiz are great and do a fantastic job every day. We also had Zuli out to cook 3 meals for us and that was worth every penny (also pretty inexpensive). The lattes and avocado toast are excellent from Bonito across the street. Plenty of options close by for a drink or massage. We did rent a golf cart but didn’t use it very much due to the excellent location of the house. Theo the house manager is easy to chat with and super helpful with anything you need or any questions you may have. We would come back here in a heart beat! One of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed at and it was an awesome family vacation! Thank you Theo and crew!

House is semi clean. Dated. Needs updating. Location is good. Housekeeping staff is loud and make a lot of noise in the morning.

Exceeded expectations. Incredible setting. Perfect in every way. We’ll be back!

We had an amazing stay! Communication and hospitality were wonderful and the house was unbelievable. The staff were attentive and the house was well maintained. We are already looking forward to our next stay. A giant thank you to Theo the onsite manager who went above and beyond to help us during our vacation.

Casa Ilusion was the perfect Sayulita home for our party of 8 sdults and 5 kids, (ages 8 to 13). The home is absolutely beautiful, right on the beach, but far enough away from the bustle of town to be almost a private beach. The home had everything we needed to prepare meals but was within walking distsnce of town to go out for great restaurants as well. The house manager, Theo arranged everything to make our trip easy, including the transportation from the airport, renting a golf cart for getting around and insuring we settled into our Sayulita vacation. . You will not be disappointed with this property. Oh, and right next door is a quiet beach bar open evemings only for $1 tacos and tasty margaritas. Pull up a chair in the sand, order a pile of tacos with a great drink, watch the sunset, then settle back at Casa Ilusion, the most beautiful beachside home in Sayulita
