Elegant villa with private pool not far from Porec beaches!

We had 2 wonderful weeks in this nice rural house. Niksa, the landlord was very friendly and helpful. The kids especially enjoyed the pool!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Villa was in a beautiful setting. Would be beneficial if second bedroom had a chest of drawers as in the other bedroom. Niksa was very helpful and informative. Would definitely stay there again.

First of all the owners of the villa communicate exceptionally well before and during your stay. Niksa even arranged a 'welcome pack' because we were arriving late on a Sunday. Happy to offer advice/tips....very reassuring. The Villa is perfectly positioned in my opinion....close to lovely hillside towns like Motovun,practically on the Parenzana Bike trail and a short 10-15 minute drive to Porec and the coastline and beaches. Being inland prices are much cheaper so things like groceries from Pazin and eating out locally is much cheaper than the coast and it felt good to support the local bakeries, retaurants etc,. Villa itself is great, lovely pool, kitchen and rooms....and Niksa is happy for you to eat the figs, apples etc,. A great base for our first holiday in Istria. Thoroughly recommended! Thankyou Niksa

We had a wonderful week in Villa Rovine - the house was super clean, very well equipped, spacious and lovely and cool. The pool and outside areas were equally well kept, which made our stay very enjoyable. The owner Niksa Bartolic was incredibly helpful, with lots of information about various things, and nothing seemed to be too much to ask. Even before our arrival, Niksa provided very detailed information regarding best border crossings, etc., and kept us updated along the journey. Having stayed at many different villas over the years, this was by far the best experience we've ever had! Thank you from the Clayton family!

Clean, well maintained and spacious villa with lots of privacy in a small quiet town. A little drive away from gorgeous beaches (do bring some water shoes, they have rocks here ;) ) and a treat to return to after a beach day for a lovely evening of dipping in the pool and relaxing on the terrace. No barbecue, but the grilling plate was awesome and was a big part in multiple great evenings of wining and dining. The landlord N. Bartolic is one of the friendliest and most welcoming, honest and no nonsense types, who went above and beyond to fulfill our wishes. Recommended.

Every thing was perfect, exept the weather. Our hosts were very kind and helpful ,they had to start the heating, because it was getting quite cold at night. The house is beautifully equiped and lies in very good position to explore Istria, also not far from the coast. We will come again in spring!!

We (young couple with baby) enjoyed the holiday very much! The house, the garden and the pool are really fantastic and perfect to relax totally. Everything is very clean and well maintained and the host Niksa is very attentive and friendly. We can recommend Villa Rovine to 100%!

For the first time to Croatia was a very nice experience for us all. When we arrived at the villa we were welcomed bij Jerko. There was some very nice food waiting for us. The villa was outstanding, mij husband has a wheelchair en they made some constructions so he could move everywhere ( only at the first path by the swimming pool we had to push him) Jerko and Niska were very helpfull at any time or moment. The people in Croatia are ver nice and friendly to. We will certainly go back again some day. fam.Lenters ( the Netherlands )

We had a great week at Villa Rovine! Jerko met us upon arrival and gave us lots of local information which was useful. The house is spotlessly clean and very cool for sleeping in mid-summer and has comfortable beds and a variety of terrace areas. The villa is quiet but close to Motovan, which is a lovely hillside village and getting to Rovinj, Porec and Novigrad was very easy. Lots of great cafes and restaurants to visit. The spacious garden with fig trees and pool area were our favourites. The large pool and terrace area is well designed with plenty of seating and a really relaxing vibe. Highly recommend a stay in this great villa. Many thanks for a lovely stay!
