Town house was as I expected

The property has potential but needs A lot of maintenance and upgrades. Also wasn’t very clean. In addition since they do not participate of hawks cay resort program you can’t enjoy the area. I stayed in this area and other owners are part of the program so you can enjoy the amenities around

The villa was very comfortable. We could not get the dryer to work, but other than that we had a wonderful stay. Wish it could have been longer!

The utensils in kitchen were sparse, no spatula, 1 frying pan was not usable other one was stainless and hard to clean, no cookie sheet. Master bedroom had an odd black, possibly mold, around vent and ceiling fan. Otherwise, location great, villa is very cute, could use update on paint

Laundry was convenient. Pool looked nice but we did not use it.

The rental was very clean but with some minor cosmetic issues such as a cracked toilet, poor paint, etc., but it is a rental after all. Parking was an issue. The property listing stated that we would have two reserved parking spaces for our unit, however we did not. When I called Vacasa they told me that parking was on a first come first serve basis and overflow parking was 0.8 miles down the road and we would have to walk back. I don’t think parking a mile from your villa is acceptable on vacation. Seems like they should paint the villa numbers on the parking spaces in front of the villas so everyone knows where to park. The stovetop light would not turn off indicating that the stovetop was on and hot even though we did not use the stove. I had to call Vacasa again about the stove and was sent about five steps to check the stove. I’m not a repairman and didn’t want to troubleshoot a stove on my vacation. Also, the door code that we were given at check-in did not work. We had to call Vacasa for assistance, but the code never worked. We had to use the lockbox where the actual key was and use it the entire time. The code never worked the entirety of our stay.

We loved the condo. It was perfect for just the two of us or maybe two couples or small Family. The bedrooms are extremely small but the two outdoor porches made up for it, especially the private pool! We had other family members staying g on condos nearby making a perfect place for a group to meet up!

we stayed for three nights after checking in the first night. I contacted the property manager, and he came the next day to fix the shower that was completely clogged wouldn’t drain, said he had to fix everything else once I checked out. The toilet paper holder was broken and not even painted, the master bed was broke. It was dirty. The doors need to be painted. The oven didn’t work, but the property manager said because the cleaning people put cleaner in it. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The home was in a great location, but it wasn’t in great shape. When we arrived, the toilet paper holder had just been put back on the wall, and it wasn’t even painted. The shower in the last bedroom was clogged, and the water wouldn’t drain. The master bed was awful and felt broken. The whole house wasn’t dirty. It needs to be deep cleaned and renovated.

Good overall. Master bathroom had slight issues with toilet and shower.

Location & communication during booking. etc was good. If you're just looking for a decent place to sleep its fine. otherwise nothing really anything to see or do.

Our stay was nice, our only complaint would be the sofa bed mattress is terrible and shouldn’t be considered as a bed.

everything was great and the unit was beautiful. I would recommend this home to anyone that wants a friendly, clean and comfortable place to vacation.

Some issues with floors not being clean. No broom or vacuum available in the unit. Refrigerator was big issue...frozen water in freezer; water on top shelf of refrigerator and bottom of refrigerator and froze eggs and vegetables; ice maker not working. I'm sure refrigerator needed to be thawed out to figure out its issue...or replaced. Kitchen items not available...only1 teaspoon and no baking pans.

Wonderful well appointed villa save no ice cube trays in freezer. National support was rude and of no help.

My biggest complaint was that the maintenance man came to pick up outdoor furniture for the hurricane and instead of knocking, started putting in the door code to just let himself in. I was standing in the kitchen cooking and the others in our group watched him walk up (the blinds were open on the door so he must’ve seen us in there as well) and he did not even try knocking. We didn’t know he was needing to come in otherwise we would’ve met him at the door. That was incredibly rude and unprofessional. There was no warning from property management that someone would be coming to pick up the furniture either. Which would’ve been totally fine but a strange person feeling like they can walk in to a rental whenever they choose with no warning is not okay. However, other than that it is a nice property and in a good location to be able to day trip to other keys.

This was a fantastic property for two couples looking for a long weekend getaway. The location was fantastic - easy drive to Marathon, walking distance to Hawks Cay’s public restaurant and marina, private access to the canal. The private pool was big enough for four adults to cool off from the Florida sun and humidity. A great stay!
