Diamond Palm on Great Exuma 1 bed 2 bath Villa right on the beach!

The location was fantastic, and the host, Rachel, was wonderful in assisting us with the reservation and any questions. Ocean was so amazing! The unit itself was okay; functional with all the basics with a bonus second bathroom. And while the towels were nice, the unit is due for an overhaul. Might have been a nice welcome to have a first jug of water on hand (have to buy by the 4L jug for 5.50 USD at reception), a starter set of shampoo/conditioner/lotion, cushions for the outdoor table chairs, and lounger cushions that weren't falling apart or grungy. It also would have been helpful to have a list of local information or resort rules in the unit, especially the number of the unit manager, Cleo. Maybe some folding beach chairs...We are not snob-type vacationers, but this week at Diamond Palm was our last stop after a week of travelling and I'd hoped it would be a little more welcoming. The Hideaways Resort was relaxing, the daily shuttle into Georgetown was very handy and the people were wonderful.

The location of this villa on the island and in the hideaways resort is fantastic

This unit at Hideaways was great! You cannot beat the location. The employees of this little resort are so friendly. The interior of the cabin is a bit dated, but the location is all that matters. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. We loved it. The owner was amazing. We visited during spring break week and our flights were canceled. She went above and beyond to help us.

Beautiful property at a very beautiful central location!! George Town just 3 min drive away. Little exuma 40 min and Coco plum beach also 35 min away. Jolly hall beach just 10 min walk and kids enjoyed the most at that beach. Oh and and if that's far away for you, you have your own beach exactly 10 steps away !!Villa itself was beautiful with nice big 1 room and 2 bathrooms with good size kitchen. It even had a coffee maker and all utensils available. I had the best sunrise view every morning and hideaways offers stand up paddle, kayak that was cherry on the top. Very friendly staff and a great bar in hideaways was a perfect bliss. If I ever come back to Exuma I am definitely staying here again !!

One of the most relaxing vacations we have taken

Beautiful sunrise every morning. Staff was amazing n grounds were gorgeous. Snorkeling right outside your door.

Our Villa was right at the waters edge like the web site states. The best surprise was how great the snorkeling was just outside our door. From Turtles to giant puffer fish, we saw it all. The unit itself was clean and had what we needed for our stay. Stocking Island is a short boat trip to experience Sting Rays and we recommend Coastline for the all day boat trip if you want to swim with sharks, pigs, see Iguanas, snorkel in a Grotto, walk an enormous sand bar and experience some really good local food. We are going back ASAP.
