Cozy Villa with private pool, 5 min walk to a secluded beach, family friendly

Beautiful villa and surroundings, great and friendly hosts.

Our only reason for staying in the area was to dive Coiba Island. I really wanted to enjoy our stay at this property choosing to stay away from Santa Catalina which is about 15 minutes away by car. Paying 3x the local going rate in the area, I had high expectations for this property in the middle of nowhere. The red flags started with a lack of check-in instructions, followed by having to meet the owners (which seemed paranoid and unnecessary) at an exact time that had to be specified ahead of time at a padlocked gate that had to be opened and closed every time you wanted to enter or leave the compound. The rolling power outages, poor AC that had to be turned off when leaving the place, ants crawling all over the kitchen, and the bed bugs that tore me up in the downstairs bedroom were the last straw. After being texted for a checkout time while putting our son to bed and being told that 10am was the latest, we decided to get out as quickly as possible. The beach is nothing special, riddled with dead crabs and debris. If you really need to stay in this area, there’s a nice hotel next door with a decent restaurant.

Beautiful, peaceful, comfortable place! Aly and Dawn were so helpful with our entire stay. They picked us up and dropped us off as we took a bus to get there. The place is really well cared for and the grounds are absolutely beautiful. The pool is a great way to spend the days as you relax. Thanks Aly and Dawn!

Fantastic property! Great hosts!The pool was gorgeous. The casita was very well appointed and comfortable. The development was great and we enjoyed walking around. The beach was not great for swimming so we went to Santa Catalina which was great!

Destination Paradise was exactly what we were looking for!Dawn and Alie were amazing hosts, responding quickly to any requests.It was fully equipped making it a perfect choice for a relaxing 10 day vacation.Pool was refreshing. Birds incredible!We definitely plan to return soon.

Great house in the Santa Catalina area, with privacy and an awesome property. The owners were so nice, and they conveniently arranged some horses for us to horseback ride on their property and at the nearby beach, which was fantastic. Great conversation with them as well, they were both very friendly and helpful. The beach was conveniently located, and we were able to walk down to a restaurant 5 minutes away. The pool was also perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

This hidden gem is perfect for a private getaway surrounded by nature. The hosts are lovely people, very accommodating and reapo aive.

Overall we had a great stay! Dawn and Aly were extremely helpful with getting us acquainted with Santa Catalina and recommending an English tour for Coiba Island. The pool and space was great when we got there and was close to a restaurant with amazing food just down the road. Getting to this location was a little out of the way with uneven paved roads, but well worth it once we arrived!

We were looking for a place that could accommodate our family of five for a visit to Coiba. Dawn and Aly’s casita was perfect. It’s a 25 or so minute drive into Santa Catalina but you’re a very short walk to the local beach and the hotel next door is a great spot to grab a bite or drinks. Communication was super easy and very quick responses. The villa was just as described, very private, and we had no problems at all. We would stay there again if we return to the area.

This was one of our favorite places we have ever rented! Comfortable bed with nice sheets. Well equipped. Dawn and Ally wonderful host. They gave us fruit and seasonings. The pool is spectacular! The property is better than you can imagine. We will defiantly return! I highly recommend staying here!
