COUP DE ♥ VILLA CALVI Superb sea view and access to the sea

Really lovely visit.

This holiday home was great, well equipped with beautiful views from the terrace. We were really lucky that our stay coincided with the Antibes to Calvi yacht race so we saw the flotilla as it left on the return leg; we happened to be in when the Indian Motor Cycle Club of Corsica had it's lunchtime stop... there was dancing in the street and one day we were privileged to a great show by the Canadairs practising their skills. The cows on the beach at Galeria and the boat trip to Scandalo we also highlights of our stay. The wild flowers were beautiful, the beach at Bodri is stunning, we walked to lighthouse in Isle de Rousse from Bodri beach along the coastal path. We also walked to the lighthouse you can see from the terrace, as well as several walks from a variety of hillside villages. We loved U Fanale the restaurant almost next door to the property, great hospitality, amazing sunsets and the spit roast was a favourite. A big thank you to Bernard and Marie for an amazing opportunity to explore their beautiful corner of Corsica.

Gorgeous setting . The house is walking distance to the beautiful citadell mid calvi yet in a very beautiful and quiet area where one can follow a path to beautiful unspoilt beaches following a literal path right by the house. Thank you for letting us stay at your house !

Beautiful house with a phenomenal Terrasse and view! We loved every minute.

We enjoyed one week in this lovely house in Calvi. The view is amazing and the location perfect. Short walk to Calvi, good access to see (stones - but good for snorkeling). The equipment, especially in the kitchen, is good. The communication with the host was very good, we received very helpful information shortly before our visit. We enjoyed our stay in this house and do recommend it absolutely.

We - a family of 5 - had a fantastic stay in this villa. The pictures describe the setting very well but there is more... the calming sound of the ocean you can listen to, the smell of the typical Corsican flowers around the house when climbing down the coastal path to go swimming (3 min and you are in the water), the nice little stroll to the castle and many shops and restaurants, the fantastic excursions recommended by the owners. We have been recommended this place by friends ourselves and are happy to confirm 5-star rating. it is one of the best places we have stayed at. Very friendly well organised owners..we want to come back!

We stayed at the house through a recommendation from a friend, and we could not have been happier! The location is just out from the centre of Calvi, close enough to walk to the town and main beach; but we had a car (as there is parking available) so we could explore the island. The airport is quite close, so a taxi would not cost too much if you didn't have a car. The house was exactly as the advertisement promised, with all working appliances, air conditioning and internet! The owner was extremely friendly in helping us sort out our accommodation dates and suggesting great places to eat (U Fanale, 1min walk from the house, fantastic meal). It was just my partner and I but there is plenty of space for a family. There was a direct access to the sea from the back patio & deck area, however, best of all was the amazing view and sunsets. Perfect for aperitif!
