Very cute duplex right on the beach. It was surprisingly, and thankfully, pretty quiet.

the location was just what we wanted. the house was clean, kitchen well appointed. small but very comfortable. the king mattress was sagging and very uncomfortable. the other mattress was adequate. the water pressure in the shower was outstanding.

We had a wonderful time. The beds were so comfortable. Location was great. There’s a little path from the deck that has an ocean view. Kitchen was well stocked. It’s a small place but our weather was perfect and we spent most of the time outside. Discovered a few new restaurants the beach access was close and perfect. Communication was great.

The unit was intimate and well appointed. Everything we needed was available; towels, coffee pot, plates, etc. A short walk down the beach walk-over and the coastline was ours to enjoy. We would certainly stay here again.

Duplex was very nice, beds comfortable, very clean, nice little kitchen and overall very comfortable. Great location on the island between the beach area and downtown. Would book it again!

The cottage was perfect for what we needed. Cozy with a beachy feel. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had what we needed. It was located right next to the beach access as well as close to Fort Clinch and Egan's Greenway and a moment's drive to restaurants and shops. Amelia Island is a favorite of ours!

We loved this property! Easy access to the beach, clean, and the deck area was perfect for us and our dogs! Great use of space inside and plenty of storage space to store our stuff for the week! We will definitely be back!

Perfect location and accomodations for our family of 3. Loved the king bed which usually isn't available at smaller houses in this price range. The quick beach access and roomy patio to clean up and dry off made trips to and from the ocean very easy. Kitchen, bathroom, and laundry facility had everything we needed and most importantly, everything worked. So often with vacation rentals we find there is a switch, or outlet, or faucet that doesn't work well or at all. None of that here. Everything functioned easily and as needed. eThe room was clean and check in and out were simple.

We really enjoyed the fenced in deck with a view of the ocean. We didn't have to worry about our 7lb chihuahua while we were outside on the deck and easy outside access to walk our dog from the ground floor. Access to the beach was next to the property. We ended spending a fair amount of time enjoying the deck, and would rent an umbrella for the table on the deck next time for some shade.

This house was the perfect size for me and 3 of my friends. Everything we needed was provided and the owners were very kind and communicated quickly. Right on the beach with many activities/restaurants nearby with easy access to all that amelia island’s downtown has to offer. Would definitely come back!

As advertised. Weather poor but accommodations great

We loved this rental. There were Two of us traveling with a small dog, with friends dropping in while traveling. Morning dogs walks on the beach and biking distance to Fort Clinch State Park kept us busy. And the close location to the historic district of Fernandia was perfect for runs to the coffee shop and dinners out. The unit was cleverly clean and comfortable. The bed in the master was very comfortable.

This rental was very charming. Very close and easy access to the beach. One of cleanest VRBO/Abnb rentals I've stayed in. My small gripe is that there was maintenance going on early in the morning in the unit next door and from my understanding the owner owns both. Would have maybe scheduled that when there wasn't any occupants. Other than that, the owner was very helpful in their communication leading up to the stay. Amelia Island was awesome and would definitely stay here again!

My wife and I and our pup just spent 5 nights in 214. We loved having our coffee on the deck each morning and enjoying the ocean view. Easy access to the beach. Downtown is right up the road and a few spots in walking distance for cocktails. Easy checkin. Comfortable bed.

Very clean, excellent location in heart of Fernandina, just right for our family of three. The home is small, but has everything you need and we were spending most of our time on the beach anyway. Excellent beach access, and even though it was a duplex, no issues with noise or the neighbors at all. Appears to have very new appliances, everything worked great.

The location was perfect! The hosts are clear and communicative about the listing and instructions. The cottage has all the amenities we needed and was so cute and immaculate. Travel tips- take advantage of the riptide sports delivery of beach chairs & water sport equipment; for a casual waterfront dinner, Sandbar was awesome (yummy blackened grouper sandwich), and for a nice dinner downtown, Burlingame was lovely. Can’t wait to be back and spend more time on this lovely island. And I’d recommend this cottage and Barefoot Amelia generally.
