Clean&Comfy Poolside veranda, Premium cable, River access.

Pool didn't get above 74⁰ this year, so sitting around pool in the sun was nice. Close to new friends and our relatives is a plus. Privacy here is everything . We hope to do it again.

Very relaxing and charming stay…

Enjoyed our 6 weeks at the Blue Moon. The large property provides plenty of privacy and quiet times. Have already booked for 2024

Property was as advertised. Private and quiet! There could be lights by the front gate. The overall house is as very clean but could use some detailed cleaning of windows and cobwebs. Pool could use a heater especially this time of year.

Started out a little worried about taking family vacation during Covid, but pur family really needed an escape from the everyday.... Blue moon was a perfect solution, semi-isolated yet four minutes from the town. Felt like we were in our own garden park among the forest lined property. We had breakfast and coffee outside and several lunches on the patio near the pool. Most importantly, the veranda was bright and clean and well stocked for a mom who normally packs the whole house. Be sure to eat at Nauti Jon's, Backwater Fins and get pizza and Chinese from in the Publix plaza. Despite not being able to meet, Cyndi was a pleasure to speak to and we hope to meet her next time and maybe even hit that tea cafe in Crystal River with her during our next trip. We loved looking at the tourist shops along that strip as well . The area thrift stores and the Angel Shrimp from Backwater Fins are alone enough of a reason to come back up for a day trip from Tampa Area. Lastly, I really forgot how beautiful and refreshing Rainbow River Springs is, we went twice and had a picnic there as well. Thank you for the vacation memories, hope to come back soon. - Milisa

The Blue Moon is truly a Magical Find. It is nestled among Old Florida foliage surrounded by beautiful spacious grounds. We often relaxed on the porch, listening to the squirrels chatter and the birds chirp. The one bedroom veranda offers an open floor plan that is very roomy and private. The outdoor pool is within steps of the porch and grill. A private covered boat slip behind the home-site provides direct access to the Homosassa River. The Blue Moon is also centrally located to the Homosassa Wildlife Park, lively restaurants, and the river boat launch. Cindi and John are exceptionally gracious hosts who truly cared about our visit to make it a magical one. Indeed, this was a Magical Find.

We enjoyed staying here. We had everything needed and more. The owners were so helpful and even provided wine , coffee, and drinks upon our arrival. Decor is very nice, bed is super comfortable, kitchen is equipped with everything you could need. Yard and pool are private and cute with fire pit, chairs and room to go for a nice walk. Location central to restaurants, bars, and attractions. Would highly recommend staying here, we loved it!

A perfect place to stay especially during this Covid virus. We wanted something that we would not be around a lot of people - perfect. We were in the condo, full kitchen with all we needed till could get some groceries. Part of a B&B but not near our unit. Very quiet, private out away from the city but not a long drive. Close enough to anything we wanted to do or see. Would for sure go back. The grounds were more natural - not like at a golf community or large condo complex if that is a big deal to someone. We enjoyed that aspect. Close to pool, but no one used, so that was no issue either. Owners were great to work with, even left us a bottle of wine. Bed was very comfortable - we very much enjoyed our stay.

Perfect in size for 2 adults, semisecluded & private, spacious apartment, fully equipped kitchen with many staples until we got to the store. Nice t.v. Very responsive & helpful property managers. Will try to go back again next year.
