Waterfront retreat with boat dock & private ramp right off the river

I cannot say enough amazing things about our stay here in Homosassa! This home was perfect for our family’s Christmas trip to see manatees. Patty was so responsive and set up a Christmas tree for us, as well as made sure we had some snacks and coffee since we arrived late on Christmas Day.The house is well appointed with everything you need. The beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of blankets for the 2 days that it was actually colder in FL than it was in CO! I read 3 books in the house during our stay because there was plenty of room for everyone to stretch out and have their own spaces. We played board games, watched movies and really took advantage of all the ways to enjoy the river. We kayaked down to see the monkeys on monkey island, we got the most delicious stone crab claws at Shelly’s seafood, we made our kids’ dreams come true by booking a tour at Country Kingdom to visit capybaras, wallabies, goats, donkeys, and otters, and, of course, we swam with the manatees! The state park gave us a chance to see the rangers feed the manatees. We also had a fun visit to the weekend flea market! This was a trip of a lifetime! Perfect stay on the river. This house is well appointed and decorated. Had plenty of space for all three of our families 2 adults and 2 children each.

This home is literally perfect. Great location, great amenities, fully stocked. Every time we needed something we just looked and there it was, they had it. Dock is perfect for boats with water electrical storage cleats etc. private boat ramp is clutch. Our friends staying elsewhere fought the public ramp and having our own made the process so easy, we plan to stay here on future trips! Look no further.

We had such an amazing time! Two big families with 10 kids between us! The house was very well stocked and there was plenty of sleeping space.The kids had a blast fishing and crabbing off the dock, we had a great time swimming at the springs, and scalloping was a blast! Thank you for the memories!

This was our second year staying here for scallop season and we absolutely love the house. It accommodates our big family love the side house for the kids. It’s decorated so cute. It comes with everything you could possibly need. Patty is super responsive. Can’t wait to come back.

The property was perfect for our two families! Very clean, well stocked and thought out. Welcome snacks, ice, water were a great touch that we appreciated after our travel in. Scalloping was excellent this year. Host was great, easy check in/check out. Nice neighbors. We would definitely come back!

We had an amazing time here!! A lot of fishing and kayaking. So much space for our group of 9. The neighbors were so friendly. My boys caught a ton of fish off the dock.

Loved the decor and space. Very close to the spring and easy to get to.

Every detail and every thing you might need is taken care of. the house is comfortable, tons to do, convenient to nearby Crumps, marina, and open water on the Gulf Coast. Perfect stay and fits everyone comfortably.

We absolutely love this song. It was clean updated had every supply and then some we didn't even think of. We will definitely be back. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. The location was great plenty of kayaks and the separate bunkbed area was perfect for the kids.

These owners are hospitable and on point with all accomodations this home has to offer. It is great for 3 couples and 4 children. The room off the porch to accomodate kids in 2 bunk beds is very cute. The location to everythng by boat is awesome!

We had the best time crabbing off of the dock and kayaking. The house has ALL of the amenities you need and everything is so well organized and well thought out. Patty is amazing and this home is definitely one of the best!

We've stayed in many VRBO properties over the years, and this one stands out as the best by far. It truly feels like a resort. The property is impeccably clean, exceptionally well-stocked, and perfectly located on the water. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and there are plenty of towels. Even the small touches, like having coffee, tea, spices, and creamers readily available, made a big difference. We hosted a big fish fry with friends, and they were equally impressed by the beautiful decor, comfortable couches, large dining table, and the abundance of kitchen accessories. This place exceeded all our expectations. The owner was super friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. Additionally, the availability of kayaks for use at any time and the proximity to the Springs made our stay even more enjoyable. We will bring our boat next time as there is so much more to experience. We can't say enough good things about this property. Highly recommended!
