Stayed Jul 23, 2025The property was attractive and clean but not as advertised and without running water. I don't know if this is normal for Corfu, but the water supply failed every day, sometimes for more than 20 hours, so we could not flush the toilets, have a shower or run the dishwasher. The property owners were charming and keen to help, phoning the authorities every time we notified them, but it did mean we sometimes felt we were camping rather than staying in a house. They told us the previous tenants had broken the pool and the washing machine, and replaced the pool within a couple of days when we asked, however they could not replace the washing machine. I would like to emphasise the owners were charming and we enjoyed our holiday, but it was less relaxing than I thought it would be! I think staying in the house over autumn/winter would mean these issues would not arise. The air conditioning worked perfectly, use of the netflix account was much appreciated, and the barbecue/dining area was gorgeous, as was the garden generally. I loved watching the swallows and, later, bats flying around the garden, and the children enjoyed the pool enormously. If the water issues could be remedied, I would recommend this property to everyone.
