Stayed May 16, 2026Here’s a polished version of your review that keeps your warm, genuine tone while improving the flow slightly:We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Casa La Era. The villa exceeded all of our expectations, set in an idyllic location with fantastic views and an amazing pool. The house was spotless throughout and equipped with everything you could possibly need — even an electric paella pan!It is a little off the beaten track, so make sure to follow the directions carefully (unlike us!). It’s also worth picking up essentials from a supermarket on your way, as the nearby towns have a limited choice of shops and many observe the traditional afternoon siesta.Overall, an excellent stay and somewhere we would happily return to.

Stayed Jul 15, 2025We have had a great stay at the house. The house was perfect. We stayed in the middle of the summer, so it was hot and the house has airco in the livingroom and bedrooms. Very welcome!! The pool was clean and checked during our stay. And I must honestly say, the beds were super! This is the first time since a lot of vacations that I was sorry to go home because I had a great bed. The only thing I would have wanted to know is the road to the house. I was so happy we had an automatic car, the road is narrow, steep and with a lot of holes. But the views made that feeling go away immediatly. Thank you for having us.... we loved it!

Stayed Jul 2, 2024We absolutely loved Francisco’s holiday villa, it was clean and very welcoming with a fantastic pool, my family and I enjoyed the pool immensely. The bedrooms were great with very comfortable and clean matresess and the bathrooms were well set out with an en suite next to the master bedroom. Francisco was very easy to communicate with and was always quick to respond to our original queries and even checked how we were getting on halfway through our trip. We absolutely loved the view over zahara and the mountains, the sunsets were just incredible! Such a great base to explore the white hill villages off this region, a highlight being the village of Setenil, well worth a visit. Thanks for letting us stay at your lovely villa Francisco especially as it was all fairly short notice due to being let down by another property owner in the area, you helped make our holiday very special, hope to be back soon!!
