Casa Almadraba. Cortijo-style, courtyard, beach (200m)

The house is super nice, lot of space, well equipped and the garden with the pool is just perfect! Roche has so many nice beaches close by which makes it a great location for a relaxing holiday on the beach. Check in+out was super easy and the recommendation in the house book were brilliant. Many thanks for the great stay!

Great stay in coastal area of Spain

This property was just the right setting for our families special birthday The beach was a 5min walk & the villa was nice & cosy The only downside was you needed a car as it was too far to walk to any shops or restaurants 5k each way to the supermarket which my son & daughter in law did ( too far me though )

Wonderful house. Andrew had been very helpful and we enjoyed the stay. The house is very spacious and has a lovely layout..few different area for chilling and sitting. The only thing is I would suggest..it would be great if the house can be cleaned at least once or twice a week during our 2 weeks stay also if we don’t have to change the covers for the beds ourselves at the end of our one week stay as we were on holiday.

Casa Almadraba was absolutely fantastic! The villa was even better than the the description & photos that were provided. Although we came in from the United States I have family that live in the South of Spain about 20 km from Roche. Everyone that came to visit could not stop talking about how wonderful the villa was, and proximity to the beach. We spent time going back and fourth between the beach and wonderful pool. We loved the outdoor space with the bbq, ping-pong table, outdoor eating and lounging space this has to be one of the best all time vacations we had. The inside of the villa was very, very clean, everything functioned as advertised including the Air Conditioning. I can't say enough good things about our stay at Casa Almadraba I am so bummed that the vacation is over we will be back and next time stay longer!

Awesome holiday home

This was our sixth annual three-generation family get-together in Andrew's beautiful house in Roche and once again we had a wonderful week. The house has a great sense of space and peace and feels more like a home than a rental. Andrew is the perfect host, always ready to help. We will be back next year.

Our stay was perfect! Even though we fully booked the house with 10 people, we never felt cramped, there was plenty of nicely decoured space and so many really nice bathrooms. The house was in very good condition and the kitchen (we cooked nearly everyday for 10 people) really perfect. The garden and pool area though were outstandingly georgeous. The beach was close, beautiful and never even slightly crowded. Our hosts were very attentive and looked out for us on our stay. The only tiny disadvantage is that the wifi is not covering all rooms evenly well. We will visit again!

We holidayed as 3 families with young kids in May. The house was great with the pool area which can be closed off, lots of amazing garden space with sunshine and shade to play in and sprinklers on timer which the little ones loved! Andrew provided us with good travel cots and highchairs for the tiny ones. There are a various different seating areas around the garden so we were able to all be together or spread out as we wished if we were in the house. We also enjoyed using the outdoor BBQ a few times. There is a vast unspoilt beach just at the end of the road, which really is amazing to have close by, as well as a kids playpark a little walk away but we didn't really use this. We visited the nearby coves which are beautiful and more sheltered for windy days - under 5-10 mins drive away. Roche hasn't got many amenities, a pharmacy, cafe and restaurant but 2 supermarkets nearby and Sancti Petri and Barossa very close with more lovely beaches. We visited lots of local towns and beaches (Vejer, Conil, El Palamar). We took the kids horse riding at a nearby riding school. We were there for 10 days and in hindsight it would have been good to arrange a mid-stay housekeeping. All in all it was a peaceful place, great for a group and we all really enjoyed our stay.

This villa is wonderfully located 2 minutes walk from the a fabulous sandy beach which literally stretches for miles. We walked along it every evening, almost alone, to watch the sunset. The property is stylishly furnished and well equipped with lots of space, particularly outside with lovely gardens, a shaded pool area, a covered dining area and a fabulous, private, intimate courtyard (our favourite). There is a lot to see and do locally, Cadiz, Jerez and the coast being especially interesting and Andrew and Maria are a font of local knowledge (Try Casa Luis), and exemplary hosts. Having stayed in countless villas over the past 30 years we would not hesitate in recommending this property.
