Brand new countryside villa with private swimming pool

The villa is very well equipped, with everything you need for a great vacation. The pool and the view are beautiful. In addition, the location of the villa is such that you can make very nice trips to interesting places and sights. Supermarkets and restaurants are within easy reach by car. In short, we simply felt at home here and had a good rest!

High spec Villa, great peaceful location , great pool , great views , really helpful host . Some of the outdoor furniture is getting a bit tired and probably needs replacing for next year

We selected this home to relax and slow down at the end of a busy sightseeing trip to Portugal. This location served as a good home base in the central part of the country. We visited several smaller sites and the coastal towns of Nazaré and Sitio. All were easy 25-35 minute drives. The home was comfortable and well stocked with extras, which were appreciated. The rural setting was as advertised. Quiet and serene. Just what we wanted. Our host Richard was always responsive and available to answer questions. If you’re seeking a rural setting, I would highly recommend this property.

Such a lovely place with a valley view to die for. We have so many good memories of Villa Ricardo, the location and the people. Neighbours are such lovely people and we have made life long friends following the invitation to The Baptist's weekly family gathering. 30 minutes from Nazarre, 50 mins from Obidos and you must go to Foz Do Arelho. One hour from Lisbon and Sintra... we have had an amazing holiday. Richard and his team are from another world and could not do enough for us. A perfect holiday in all respects. Rural Portugal will bring you down to earth for the things that really matter in life. Enjoy !!

We spent 14 days in Villa Ricardo and really enjoyed it. Spacious house with everything you need. Really well equiped. Nice swimming pool and a terrace with a great view. The villa is located in a small, quiet village but many things to visit within 15 - 30 minutes drive. You do need a car. Very friendly neighbours and the host is very helpfull if you need something. We recommend!

Myself and my husband and kids stayed here for only 2 nights- I could easily have stayed week! We loved the location because it was surrounded by grapevines and amazing views. We drive the 30 min and explored the surrounding areas- it was a great chance to relax and enjoy the countryside of Portugal The accommodations are fabulous- super clean, big and has everything you need. It was stocked with wine and a few essentials which was such a nice touch. One of the neighbours gave us some oranges from their tree. The pool was great- all around we loved this place- thank you
