Charm House in Rural Tourism

Beautiful place to stay for vacation!! Great Host.

We found our visit for almost four weeks really nice and relaxed. Language differences was not an obstacle The pool is outstanding and relaxing If there is something to complain it may be the tools for cleaning. The terrace need a refresh cleaning (since birds like to leave their “little affair”) - I real hard brush on a stick would have been good to have  In total we were very pleased and we could think to make another visit there one of the next years Kindly Wolfgang, Ann-Louise, Harvey, Elly and the rest of the family

The villa is a true home from home. Maria and Anibal have ys a very warm reception, the house was lovely and homely and very comfortable. The pool was superb, always clean and such an amazing view. The hosts offered us fresh fruit from the garden and baked a cake for us which was delicious. Truly an amazing stay!

The villa is beautiful, sat on the balcony looking out at valley and surrounding hills, looking Down at the birds flying by. Pictures don't do justice, the villa is set in wonderful surroundings, everything is perfect for you. Even a pool table is the basement for the day that rained. Bicycles if you want 2. Car needed really. Close to Alcobaça Town, Maria and Dianna are brilliant host nothing is to much trouble for them. Maria's husband takes great pride in the property, swimming pool vacuumed every day. Cleanest pool ever. He even gave me a lesson on his barbecue, which was delicious. We had a thunderstorm which took electric out, and he came around with torches for us. We didn't want to leave, we spent 20 days here and enjoyed every moment. We will recommend this place 100%. Definitely worth the money. Will be coming back to see the family.

This was the nicest place to stay.....a beautiful house with gorgeous views and a swimming pool. This home was centrally located to so many wonderful and cultural places and we took advantage of visiting them! Our hosts were very nice and I would highly recommend staying here.

A very nice house with a beautiful view over the countryside. The owners are very friendly and helpfull!

It was a pleasure to wake up to the views each morning. Nice villa, well equipped and the bed was not too bad either (we normally struggle with mattress comfort). There could of been a few cupboard basics provided in the kitchen such as salt, pepper, cooking oil, foil etc. But we were welcomed with wine, cheese and some lovely marmalade. There is a pool table room downstairs that is not mentioned, so that was a bonus. The owners are next door always on hand if you need them but they don't intrude other wise. They are a lovely family, very friendly and helpful, even the dog smiles when he has got used to you.

Casa Almanzor is an absolutely beautiful villa, situated in a small valley overlooking vineyards and farmland. With mountains in the distance the situation of the villa is perfect! The house itself is immaculately furnished and has everything you need for a perfect stay. The pool is a great size and has plenty of sunbeds and sunshades and overlooks the valley. There is a separate barbecue area with patio furniture and large parasol. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Almanzor and the owners were so welcoming and on hand close by if we needed anything. I can not recommend this villa and the area of Alcobaça enough. Thank you!

We spent marvelous 8 nights at Casa Almanzor. We have found peace, rest and enjoyment in Capuhos. Casa Almanzor is our place in Portugal - big, sunny house, pool, peace, great view, and very friendly hosts made our vacation. Place is near to a number of places that you want to visit - Lisbon, Fatima, Alcobasa, Nazare, hosts serve delicious breakfasts, house is almost new, and surrounding is peaceful. The only thing you need is a car.
